Elections and government formation
by Mohanbir Singh on May 30, 2009 06:01 PM  | Hide replies

We should get rid of our mai baap syndrome.
We should discard dynastic politics.
In the last government formation it was the great sacrifice of Sonia Gandhi in refusing the PM post. This was given a quiet burial this time, but the Congress victory was attributed to the fantastic leadership qualities of Rahul Gandhi.False on both counts.

Naxal problem
by swami pudipeddi on May 28, 2009 11:55 AM

If Naxalism is properly tackled and curbed by hook or crook then there will be peace internally. This enable concentrating on terrorism. Because of these factors the development is not reaching the poor and other desired sections of the society for whom certain benefits were contemplated. Apart from this whatever infrastructure is created at a huge cost is being destroyed in the name of Naxals upsurge. It has to be seen whether actully Naxals are there or some persons in that name grabbing the Name to do their deeds of unsocial behaviour?

Re: Thanks BJP

Absolute power corrupts absolutely. Congress should have decernable opposition. Unfortunately BJP leadership adopts cheap tactics therby losing public confidence. Elimination of umpteen parties with selfish interes and not party ideals should come to an end and a consolidated one party in opposition would set right Indian political scene.
