RSS to blame for BJP's defeat
by mandar on May 26, 2009 10:46 AM  | Hide replies

Not BJP but RSS is the main reason for the defeat of BJP. BJP should liberate itself from the shackles of RSS and its various children in the form of VHP, Bajrangi, Sadhvi, Purohit etc. BJP, under Vajpayee Sahab, had done really a great job. It is not the fanaticism and negative approach towards minorities of Modi & Advani that will take BJP any further. If the BJP toes the line of Sangh parivar they will surely go back to their 1984 tally of 2 MPs very soon.

India needs strong 2 party system. BJP can develop itself as a strong alternatve to Congress which is heavily dependent on dynastic rulers. However blaming the voters, the media and all those who are opposed to Sangh Parivars views and their methods of butchering the minorities will give them nothing.

RSS is trying to put its blame on BJP. RSS should introspect itself for its fanatic views and as a social organisation should remain away from politics. That neither helps them nor the party they support. IF it has hard for RSS, BJP on itself should snap its ties with RSS and give a new outlook as a modern party fighting for the real causes of suffering people of India. It should stop depending heavily on Brahmins & Baniyas.

The real master stroke would be to keep away the RSS, VHP, Bajrangi and other fanatics who are engaged in violent methods and pouring poison in the society. Not many, other than Brahmins, agree with the views of RSS. Though they try to show patriotism, their ideology is corrupt and inhuman.

REAL VICTORY FOR biased INDIAN MEDIA.
by Desh Premi on May 25, 2009 09:59 PM

It is time for BJP to own a TV news channel else they will persih
Every media is owned by overseas Christian organisations. It was difficult to believe but the Election coverage by TV Media is prooving the point.
BUT NOW IT IS PROVED BEYOND DOUBT.
(1)No TV Media aired the News on the suicide of Senior Vadhera. If any such death had
happened in the family of a BJP person, the Media would have gone agog with the
news.
(2)Teestha Setalwad was exposed of creating most of the Gujarat Riot Stories and in
fact taken the Supreme court almost for a ride.Imagine a similar offence by the
opposite side. There would have been discussions, hen fights, opinion polls and
SMS surveys.

The MEDIA OF THIS DECADE WILL BE REMEMBERED FOR AGES TO COME. IT IS A BLOT ON JOURNALISM.

Is there any Indian who will lodge a criminal case on Testha Setalwad for her crimes against the communal harmony of this country?

The issues that 'BJP raised are communal as per media
by Bskr T on May 25, 2009 09:31 PM  | Hide replies

The issue of the Kashmiri Hindous. Was that wrong?
Or demanding revocation of the POTA and stringent measures against terrorists?
Or the agitation for the Amarnath land and preservation of the unique world heritage and a symbol of faith like the Ram Sethu?
The nationalists opposed the divisive politics of Raj Thackeray, who was propped up by the Congress to counter the Shiv Sena. Was opposing Raj wrong?
They were responsible for Pokaran-II and were committed to preserve our rights for Pokaran-III if needed. Was that against the national interest?
On the eve of the polls they said forget 1984, but remember Gujarat. What mentality did it show?
The nationalists wanted Article 370 to go and Kashmir fully integrated with the rest of India. Was that against national integration?
Should India be governed on religious fragmentation and parochial chauvinism or on the basis of egalitarianism, equal rights and privileges to all rising above the communal lines?
Let everyone ponder -- Hindous have been continuously assaulted for the last 1,200 years. Do they have a right to preserve their heritage and way of life after a partitioned independence or not?

On the contrary Congress, whatever they believed in, they delivered.
Removed POTA, faced opposition. Didn't relent.
Introduced reservations for the Muslims. Faced opposition. Didn't relent.
Constituted Sachar Committee. Its divisive attitude and faulty inferences were discussed and severely criticised. It didn't budge an inch and carried on.
Faced a barrage of criticism on the delay in hanging Parliament attack accused Afzal Guru. It stood sweetly firm.
It de-froze Octavio Quattrocchi's accounts in London, unshackled him from the Central Bureau of Investigation. The media and the others cried foul. So what? It remained cool.
It kept silent over Nandigram, Singur. But had the prudence to tie up with the Trinamool Congress. And succeeded in defeating the Left.
It gave huge amounts of plan allocation funds to the minorities ignoring the majority Hindou concerns. So what? It got Hindou middle-class votes plus Muslim ones.
It faced flak on its policy to combat terrorism, had to change its home minister and the chief minister of Maharashtra post the 26/11 attacks. Yet it won in Mumbai handsomely.
It got a nuke deal passed despite the entire Opposition and one of its key allies opposing it in one language. It saw silently that Parliament was turned into a bazaar. Yet it won the Muslims and a new mandate.
And the Hindoutva group faced a powerfully hostile section of the media. Some of them became an instrument to oppose Hindou assertions maligning them

BJP an alternative to Congress
by gopala krishna on May 25, 2009 08:56 PM

If BJP wants to become a national alternative party to Congress, it has to make improvements in certain areas as follows:

1. It should shed the image of Hindu rightist party, and project equal opportunity to all and no appeasement politcs.
2. It should not undertake or profess the controversial issues like Ramjanma Bhumi, Article 372 (pertaining to J&K) etc. etc.
3.It should admit more and more muslims into the party.
4.It should undertake constructive critism to wrong doings of Congress government and suggest workable alternative solutions.

SIT expose
The recent SIT findings submitted to the Supreme Court exposes the evil designs of certain ‘secularist’ NGOs, and self styled human rights activists.

The SIT, headed by former CBI director, R K Raghavan, along with former DGP C B Satpathy and three senior IPS officers Geetha Johri, Shivanad Jha and Ashish Bhatia, was assigned to enquire into the post-Godhra riots in Gujarat by the Supreme Court. The SIT report has categorically indicted Teesta Setalvad, a self styled human rights activist of tutoring witnesses, cooking up macabre tales of wanton killings and slapping false charges against police officials.

Why BJP should CLOSE down its shutters?
by New York on May 25, 2009 08:03 PM

* BJP chose a Hawala dealer to LEAD India.
* Post Babri, BJP did not FORESEE that propagating H!nduism will intrinsically IGNITE Caste!sm in India.
* BJP tried to polarize H!ndus Votes VERSUS Rest of Communities Votes.
* No SANE voter from BC/SC/ST and Minority Communities will ever vote for BJP in future.
* And Kumaraswamy, Naveen Patnaik, Nitish Kumar, Chauhan are also DESERTING BJP now.
