I fully agree with all the praise written for Ahmad Patel in article , messages and their replies. Upto this time I have always been ondering who is that shrewd and intelligent person who has adviced Sonia Gandhi in 2004 to be a king maker instead of The King. Today I feel surely it must be Mr. Ahmad Patel, because he himself had been one and fully realised the advantages of that roll. A king maker is more powerful than king himself, but without any responsibilities, headaches, blames and back breaking work of king. All the blame, abuses and brickbats etc are directed towards a king for failures, though he might have only executed the orders of all powerful king maker. I cant understand why media is projecting this man as savior of congress....First of all this man dont have any credibility within his own state Gujarat and media says he is back door person who helped congress to win this election...reason for writting about this man is that very soon there is going to be by election in Gujarat, so to gather minority vote congress has started all this media hype on Ahmed Patel.
He is good politician , did a excellent job in current election. Politician with a clean face value. No scam or no any illegal involvement.Nice politician , can do something to India.

Dsilva, First of all let me tell that he is muslim Patel from Gujarat and not Hindu Patel as people think about him.. every body that he is not We know in Gujarat what he did to win this election..so we will teach him in forth coming by election..congress has contested with 9 standing MLA's so 7 won out of them..So very soon by election...Saffron falg will raise above all this congress constitunecy..
Congress also has a handful netas always in the background trying to rise in stature by underhand means.Fortunately Patel urns up a clean hard working Gujrati whom Sonia Gandhi trusts more than her own son. Patel has ben with Gandhi family for good 10 years unfortunately the gentleman could not impress upon Sonia to kep her children out of politics.His own family has stayed away from limelight or any political agendas. UNfortunately Indian political scene is now turning into family buisness.Every MP is trying to put forward his son/daughter /son in law or wife or somebody related to the family inspite of the fact that none of them is qualified or wise enough to sit in the Parliament. THE MAIN REASON BEHIND THIS IS THAT ALL THIS FAMILY BUISNESS STARTED FROM NEHRU ONWARDS.FRTUNATELY INDIRA GANDHI WAS A WORTHY LEADER BUT RAJEEV OR SANJAY WRE JUST A MISERABLE LOT AND THEN IT HAS CONTINUED TO RAHUL/PRIYANKA AND POSSIBLY WILL GO FURTHER DOWN TO PRIYANKA'S KIDS AND RAHUL'S KIDS. AND SO NONE OF THE GANDHI'S CAN STOP ANY OTHER MP TO NOT TO INDULGE IN THE SAME PRACTISE. WELL PATEL HAS BEEN VERY VERY INFLENTIAL WITH SONIA GANDHI AND TO AN EXTENT HE CAN ASSURE THE MARGINALISATION OF THE OTHER FAMILY MEMBERS FROM JOINING THE POLITICS FOR WHICH THEY ARE NOT CUT OUT FOR.THEY ARE MAKING A MOCKEREY OF POLITICS AND OUR COUNTRY .

Sheik Abdullah had one Handoo, a Kashmiri Hindu Pandit who constantly instigated and supported Sheik Abdullahs views on separation. Handoo even used to bypass Attorney Generals opinions.
BJP has Sudheer Kulkarni.
Indira had Yahpaal Kapoor & RK Dhawans..
Only the Left is purely governed by the Politburo and Central Working Committees. No individual is above the party; even Jyoti Basu had to agree to fall in line when the Politburo refused to endorse him to become the Prime Minister!

Hello sir, for your kind information, the first committee investigating Indira's assassination...ordered an inquiry into role of dhawan.He was in charge of her security and changed the duty of security gaurds so that two sikhs were there when she was coming out ALONE (Indian PM alone ..ha ha ha) to give interview to BBC and the BBC cameraman recorded some 3 minutes after shooting...
Sonia-Patel equation if zoomed in to a state level, will reflect the Naveen-Pyarimohan in Orissa. Like Sonia, Naveen reads from written script as he doesnt know Oriya. Its Pyarimohan Mohapatra who is called super Chief minister. Similarly Ahmad patel is the Super Party President of congress. The diffrence is that Pyarimohan is an open secret while Patel has managed to maintain a low profile...
