MAMATA SHOULD CHOSE BETWEEN RAILWAYS & BENGAL
by damodaran mohan on May 26, 2009 11:24 AM

While we do appreciate mamata's concerns but we can only hope she will be able to devote enough time for the Railways which was well nourished by LALU.Given mamata's priorities for Bengal and her LEFT HATAO fixation there is an apprehension she may spend more time in Kolkatta than in Delhi resulting in neglect of Railways.Mamata should reassure the people that this would not happen. Otherwise it is better she handsover the Railways portfolio to some who can devote adequate time.

mamta win - typical army rule of common punishment
by ninu kj on May 26, 2009 11:17 AM

Mamta incident formed me to recall my army experience of facing group punismnet becoz of mistakes by cadet.

Here, mistakes by few bengoloi voters gave same punishment to whole country. Hardly becoz of .05% voters whole country is suffering.
thanks

BJP lost not because of any of the reasons you mention. It lost because -
(1) Mr LK Advani unnecessarily made personal attacks on Dr MM Singh.
(2) certain senior leaders like Mr BS Sekhawat and Dr MM Joshi backstabbed Mr Advani.
(3) BJP chose to partner with known fickle minds like Ajit Singh and Chautala.
(4) it surrendered Bihar to Nitish Kumar.
(5) its middle rung leadership was not as cohesive as it should have been.
(6) in Mr Gandhi's case, it took one step forward and two steps backwards.
(7) it didnot use Ms Uma Bharati as an antidote to Mr Kalyan Singh.
(8) it did not completely distance itself from rogues and ruffians.

1)Mr. L.K.Advani's comments on MMS was given a very personal angle by mother daugther and son and people were stupid not to even analyse the comments on either side-SELECTIVE hearing and accordingly biased opinion by our educated youth.
2)Media was efficent enough to show that difference of opinion exist only in BJP and all other parties were modest enough to follow their leaders.A team without difference opinion points out that either the followers are not able to think independently or that they are happy curbing their opinins coz their pockets are filled or promised to be filled.
3) They chose fickle minded parteners over power greedy ones like DMK.
4)They belived that irrespective of difference of opinions they need to appreciate real work done by people like Nithish Kumar
5) It belives in the leadership quality of each of its members unlike dynasty rule.
6)In Mr. Gandhi's it forgot that the spectators were sitting judging them at the back and every step forward was measured backward.
7)it didnot use Ms Uma Bharati as an antidote to Mr Kalyan Singh.
8)It did not belive in keeping quite on the issues of terrorism to applese minority.

Railway Ministry will be operated from kolkatta.....
by Eccentric World on May 26, 2009 10:36 AM  | Hide replies

In spite of winning 206 seats, Congress is crawling when asked to bend.

What is the point in giving them such a large mandate, if they want to appease their junior partners?

Congress is completely mis fit to run the country.

Every body knows that Mamta Banerjee is a maverick. Like Mayavati, she is no respector of pre- or post-poll friendships, and can never see any other person in TC getting eminence anywhere nearing hers. To defeat the left parties, she can souond and act more leftist than the left. I predict that the Railways will be face dire consequences of her policies sooner than later.

As a normal citizen I feel that mamta is playing for her political gain only and we feel also that she is too hot and temper lady. She is not the real leader.

As I have seen Mamata's recent interviews, I have understood that she is one completely illiterate, idiotic politician. She is unable to believe that she has won majorly in the West Bengal for the first time in her life time. So, She is jumping like a monkey and does like it.
