First I would like to congratulate Indian voters for selecting such a wonderful politician. Indeed, Rahul gandhi has given tickets to right people in this election, especially youth brigade and most them won the election (i.e. Meenakshi natarajan, ashok talwar, sachin pilot, jyothiraditya, milind deora etc) Hope some of the youths will get berth in the cabinet and they use the power properly to develop India and the rural and semi urban Indians life may get better. People like Meenakshi should concentrate on the development of essential things like Infrastructure (proper roads, energy), Employment (Most of the rural and semi urban people are moving to urban places for jobs, if govt creates job in rural and semi urban areas) and Proper irrigation techniques (Indian farmers still using the 150 years old cultivation practices).

Hope our newly elected MP’s makes some difference in the future years!

Do you say Rahul is the only one who can hand pick such guys. Its so that he is from Gandhi clan. If someone else who is much capable to pick than him does axe might fall on him. Its the intention of Rahul that I appreciate but not his intelligence or capability to handpick. Anybody can do that.

To rule this country, muddled with poverty, malnutrition, unemployment, large devide between havs and have nots, we need a person of substance than glamour. Let us support Meenakshi kind of persons; they are the only hope in this otherwise hopeless situation.

Is that the best you can come up with. Why cant you see anything positive in this. A young eductaed leader who has no airs and carries her own luggage rather than having 5 body guards and chamchas. This is a good start and no need to throw stones and be vulgar.

You could find fault with everything including your own family if they voted for congress. What you have in you is the blind hatred and bigotry which only a fascist organization like sanghi's can teach. You would be more at homewith the osama's, nazi's than in my country India.

Only the cong is fascist-remember "Indira is India and India is Indira"-BJP never had a leader of this type.
Further the oly time India had a fascist govt is 1975-77-during Indira's regime

Good Luck

I wish her all the best because she is the only one among the new people who comes without any political lineage (My understanding is she is not related to Jayanti Natrajan) and represents middle class aspirations.
What remains to be seen is will she now become a part of the establishment or will she remain true to her roots. Will her constituents ever get to see her until the next election?
One thing I do not understand is how can you run for office from an area from which you do not belong to? Vinod Khanna lived in Bombay and claims to work for Gurudaspur. If this people are going to run from that place and they should also be from that place or make that place their home

All the Best - Corruption free Politics
by S r on May 24, 2009 10:38 PM

All the Best and hope you become great leader with the same principle.

This is the Welcome sign from the Congress and Rahul keep it up. Parties must support more this types of candidates from common people (Not based on caste, community, family, money, goonda support).

Best wishes for her and supporters of this principles.

The "Times of India Group" doing good campaign on corruption free politics. Other Media or website are not supporting, voice is silent and they are just sleeping. Wake up and campaign for "Corruption free Politics " (at least result we expect in 10 years time)
It is You rediff it also applicable to you.
