This old man of Tamil nadu thinks that cabnet being formed at centre is for his own state...thats why he wants to bulldoze into this cabinet with his dominant presence....it makes no logical sense to have 18 mp and 8 ministeries..which means 1 ministery for every two mp..that ay cingress will have to creat 100 odd ministeries to fullfill everybodies aspirations.

greed has no limits. for winning the majority, if one mp is reuired and given ministry for supporting, does it mean each MP is given one ministry....
Had it been 30 MP less for cong, it would be bxegging SP & comm.

Unfortunately MMS did not understand and said Madras wood is not as durable as Assam teak so he has already placed his order in Guhuwati and his landlady Guhuwati landlady, Mrs Saikia, has assured that the carpenters will deliver the new cabinet to the PM's temporary abode in Dehli.

Mr. Bardhan, CPI leader was saying in front of TV Cameras that Dr. Manmohan Singh Govt purchased MPs at Rs. 25 crores a piece for the survival of his last ministry when the Left-front withdrew their support over the dubious Nuclear Deal. No Congi with high-morals dared to file a defmation suit against Mr. Bardhan. We all know about the JMM birbery case during the time of PVN Rao. What moral the "Congis" have to accuse any one else??
The DMK supremo seems to have more clout than the actual PM of India and the dynasty Yuvaraj Raul put together. Within 24 hours of denying ministerial births to DMK, the UPA is now about to do a U-turn. The goonda elements in both parties are soul mates and the politicians just can not get rid of them.
To see that Congress - Sonia,Dr.Manmohan Singh and all the rest - is still the same old SPINELESS, DIFFIDENT, APPEASEMENT-PRO PARTY DESPITE THE PEOPLE`S MANDATE is nauseating. Karunanidhi having problems because of children from 3 wives etc. is a personal matter and Congress just cannot accommodate those problems when the interests of the country are at stake. Having voted for Congress all these years, I NOW ASK SONIA/PM TO JUST APPROACH BJP AND FORM A GOOD COALITION GOVT, KEEPING OUT THE HINDUTVA AGENDA AND FOLLOWING NATIONAL AGENDA. Congress should desist from insulting the mandate. Forget DMK who (Karunanidhi) insulted her by reading a poem in praise of LTTE. What will PM be able do for this country if he keeps mum for accommodating DMK family. The same Karunanidhi and his DMK were electoral allies of the Congis in the recently concluded Parliament election. When Ms. Sonia Gandhi had no objection in aligning with DMK, why some Congis are acting as "more loyal than the king" and abusing all Tamilians in the name of LTTE's alleged role in eliminating Rajiv Gandhi??

Anybody can have anyone as their friend, but if the friend is doing wrong like running terrorist organisation then the law takes it own course, thats what happened to Prabhakaran, so why discuss, LTTE is a sinful criminal terrorist organisation and they deserve what they got from Sri lanka army, it was also a gift on Rajiv Gandhi's death anniversary, the entire LTTE and prahakaran family's death.
karuna is frustated man now a days,he is so confused how to distribute power amongst his family members,this unfortunately became public after their open bargaining in delhi,so there is no point in blaming the media for such goof ups.

Now suddenly DMK had become bad for everybody, because they are asking for the dues for their critical support to Congress.
Congress is the head of the coalition and if they take all creamy Ministeries, why not they take the social sector and give some creamy ministeries to critical allies like DMK,NCP.

Tamils are not fools to beleive the false propaganda by English media that is Karunanidhi is trying to give ministerial seats to his family alone. Definitely He will distribute seats to regionwise members of DMK.Definitely one ministrial seat will go to Vanniyar and another for Konguvelalar. He walked away from Delhi to protest aganist lethargic respect that he received from Congress leaders in comparison to last time. Last time PM has visited to his house to discuss about ministerial berths. However, this year he demanded list of ministers from DMK through phone.So he walsked. For him self respect is more important than few seats. English media cannot understand what is self respect means.Because they obssesed by nagativism.

The allocation of specific ministries is in powers of our PM. Nobody should dare to ask for specific ministires. Even if they succeed in pressurising PM get the specific ministries, the PM should reshuffle those ministries - take it or leave it.

But the survival of the Govt is in allies hand who are giving critical support to UPA.
UPA has 262(10 less than majority) and Congress has 206(66 less than majority). So, the PM can not dictate his terms. The allies who add to make 272 are more important that the PM, otherwise the PM will have to resign and Govt will collapse.
Congress must give due to its allies who stood with them in critical times and giving vital support. Else, they should tell that we do not have the numbers.

In India equal rights to all citizens is guaranteed through constitution, and political parties are interested in providing more provisions for the minority people. Whereas in Srilanka the government systematically and steadily took measures to suppress minorities. For instance tamil students has to get more mark than Sinhala student to get a place in university. They were also denied opportunity in government jobs. Many basic rights were denied to Tamils. So as long as such social injustice exits, new terrorist organizations would come up with different strategies and would continue to exist without any end. LTTE was GREAT but they badly missed several chances of Political Settlement. Their moto was not clear, perhaps they only wanted to fight till finish.
LTTEs were a poor negotiator, they could have become a long lasting organisation like Mao's of Nepal but perhaps their leader was too adament.
