DMK and cheap and pettiness
by Curio on May 23, 2009 01:58 PM

DMK has a lust for money. That is why they want money (read infrastructure) ministries. Why should so many members from one family get cabinet berths? Dear Congress, if you are a party that fought for our independence and you care for India, pls do not succumb to the DMK. moreover since you have a good mandate. Do not give them more than 1 cabinet berth(do not treat them any better than Trinamool)

DMK

All the political parties just looking for their own benefit rather than Nation building. This DMK is one of them. They want only power. If they beleive in Priminister then should know that a Priminister like Manmohan Singh will not made bad decision, they must trust him and what he decides that should be accpted becuase MMS will not make any injustice to any allies.

NO USE SAYING THAT YOU ARE HONEST NOW
by ramoo prasad on May 23, 2009 01:42 PM

1. CONGRESS WAS READY TO COMPROMISE ON HONESTY WHEN THEY FACED A CRISIS IN SAVING THE GOVERNMENT
2. THEY ROPED IN SP, AND TURNED A BLIND EYE ON CORRUPT MINISTERS SO THAT THEIR CHAIRS WOULD BE SAVED.
3. NOW TO HEAR MORALITY FROM RAHUL GANDHI AND LIKE IS NOT GOOD MUSIC.
4. POLITICS IS THE REALM OF OPPORTUNISM AND THERE IS CORRUPTION AT ALL LEVELS.
5. 90% POLITICIANS IN CONGRESS OR BJP OR CPM ARE CORRUPT AND HENCE TO BLAME ONLY DMK IS TAKING A HIGH MORAL GROUND.
6. DO YOU MEANT TO SAY THAT RAM VILAS PASWAN OR LALU WERE HONEST PEOPLE? WHAT ABOUT TASLIMUDDIN?

7. SO ARE THE PEOPLE FROM BJP AND SO ARE THE LEFT OR REGIONAL PARTIES

8. CAN INDIAN POLITICIANS BECOME AT LEAST 90% HONEST? NO- INCLUDING RAHUL GANDHI

9. NO HONEST PERSON WITHOUT THE BACKING OF A POLITICAL PARTY CAN WIN ELECTIONS IN INDIA

He does not have to.DMK wioll make all the right noises before coming back with their tail tucked in as the lure of power is too strong to resist. More over at least two years in office in key ministries is required to not merely recover the enormous money spent on the Loksabha elections but also to build reserve funds for the forthcoming Assembly elections. The 'Thirumangalam' model was successfully replicated all over TN in the Loksabha. Now that the technique has been perfected, it will be used in the Assembly elections. If Jaya,Vaiko,Dr.Ramdas,Vijayakanth,Tha.Pandyan,Varadarajan etc want to help the voters in TH,they should continue to make noise so that DMK will open its purse strings more liberally the next time for the voters

Difficult to find what is going on.On the one hand news channels have been blaring Cong ,pushed by Rahul, has taken a tough line on allowing Raja and Baalu back and yet PM himself says no problem wih Raja and Baalu.Someone else says it is a family tussle on exact status for Alagiri vis a vis Maran vis a vis Kanimozhi. What exactly is going on?
Now Azad takes a tough line again.Playing hot and cold has made this a major unseemly controversy.

Dont blam media for your inept handling.
You should have dumped DMK for balck mailing and corrupt ministry handlings.
When congress was not given any berths in state minority govt .. there is no need to accomodtae DMK in central cabinet.
Throw them in bay of bengal.
