When I see incompetent fools such as Mr.Azhagiri (he was also charged in several murder cases) and Ms. Kanimozhi are being offered ministership, I am beginning to wonder if the Constitution is flawed. Maybe we should go with a US-like Constitution where the people directly elect their leader and then the leader selects highly competent people from private life to lead ministries.
Just saw TV News today, wherein Mamta was being welcomed in Kolkata after taking oath as Union Minister. Mamta announced that She as well as her TMC Ministers will remain in Kolkata for 5 days in a week to do party work. If such is the statement from Union Ministers, you can expect how these important Ministries will function in UPA Govt. Dr.Manmohan Singh must take up the issue with Mamta to mend her ways and must behave like a Union Minister. Also, no allowances & Salary be paid to all Ministers as long as they remain absent from Govt. In case Mamta doesn't listen, then Dr.Singh should immediately remove such Ministers and appoint new ones from the big majority of Congress MPs.
COLOMBO (AFP) – Sri Lanka said Sunday it would not allow UN aid workers complete access to civilians who remain in camps after the defeat of the Tamil Tigers until rebels hiding among the refugees had been weeded out.
UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, on a visit to one camp housing 200,000 Tamils, had called for his staff to be given "unhindered access" to those displaced in the decades-long war that ended a week ago.
Ban, who toured the Menik Farm facility on Saturday, described the conditions as overcrowded and the detained civilians as "badly in need of food, water and sanitation".
The government responded to his appeal for aid agencies to be permitted to help by saying that "as conditions improved, especially with regard to security, there would be no objections to such assistance".
President Mahinda Rajapakse's statement warned of "the likely presence of Tamil Tiger infiltrators among the large numbers who had come to the government areas".
The government describes the camps as "welfare villages" and says it wants to resettle all displaced civilians as soon as possible, but Tamil activists say they are "concentration camps" with inmates penned in behind barbed wire. ------------------------------------- It looks like the Sinhala Nazis are still not allowing aid and freedom to the refugees, because they plan a witch-hunt & massacre in the Tamil refugee camps.
It's time for the World to Step in to Sri Lanka and prevent the genocide of the Tamils.

The Best way to deal with Karunanidhi is to demand same number of Cabinet Posts for Congrss MLAs in Tamil Nadu Ministry. I'm sure, Karuna will forget everything and will not ask even a single Cabinet Post in Delhi.The Congress having won 206 seats on its own must behave like a National Party and should not bother much about DMK.
Congress gain this time. I am voting congress only because there is no alternative. I am not happy with Congress because what they are projecting in reality they are not that one. Congress should come up with clean image and they must clean up,lot of criminals also in the party. As per the survey 42 criminals in BJP & 41 Criminals in Congress contested in MP election this year. If these criminals are in the party either BJP or Congress how the parties can become clean. Congress party making much noice only ie : why not saachar committee report implemented, why there is much noice about minority appeasment and minorities not getting any benefit , where is the quotas or reservation for minorities , only on papers and news ? If the govt. not able to give this why propoganda ? Only to get their votes and to show majority that they are treating minorities very nicely. Majority community thinking that minorities getting every thing from this govt. but in reality they are not getting any thing only promises from govt. If there is another strong Secular party, I am sure I will never vote to congress. Congress should come up with clean image and should take the country towards development not only filling their own pockets which is happening today.

Absolutely right.There will not be true progress in India where half the world's poor live without government's all out effort to educate and alleviate the sufferings and miseries of the poor people of India.If China can do it so can India.India has both means and resources to uplift poor masses which will go a long way to establish the country in the comity of the great nations.Congress has got a fresh mandate from the nation and must prove it's worth to justify the trust tha nation has placed in their hands. Nobody is qualified for any post. Last 5 years maximum farmers died and again pawar saheb becomes Agri. Minister. I think congress dont know the choice of their minister. Pawar saheb wants to become sports minister because he is interested in BCCI more than farmers. chidambaram is really looking odd in home minister he should become fin. Minister. I doubt if SM Krishna sir can travel in this age. Mamata di is horrible for railways. She will sure make all women like her (wido). Shri Ram save india now.
