Karuna is such a greedy person that his one leg is in the grave but yet he does not want to give up. He should call it a day and get lost from Tamil politics. His sons and daughter will thereafter just disappear from Tamilnadu.
Karunanidhi has spoiled the way politics is run over the last 50 years, by introducing new techniques of false voting, freebies, split and rule, violating laws, brought shame on courts and police force, corruption to unbelievable magnitude, misusing govt. officials...oh what not.......We can hope of cleaning politics, the way it should be, only after him and Sonia.

i agree with you.but this poor innocent and brainless people not aware of his cunningness...shame on tamils.. from now on election mantra for any party will be ....announce freebies,use rowdies,booth capturing ,evm's manipulation,bribing voters.....
Kudos to the author for his frank comments!all tamils are ashamed of this veteran politician's cheap way of power mongerism.one hopes the PMhas seen through the game of his powerful southern ally and will not yeild to such blackmailing.

U must be mad to write like this.. Be more rational.. its central govt and it should act in the interest of all the states.. dont think narrow.. Even I am a tamilian.. Dont project a wrong picture of tamil people like this. As long as we have people like u in our tamilnadu, Karunanidhi will keep winning wealth n votes for his family..wake up my friend.

Great thinking....but he will find ways to make money even in these areas. Remember he was once described by court as scientific corrupt.

for the last one and half decade, tamil nadu's reservation list indicate that 89% of the population of TN comes within that category. This was the statistics given to SC for the OBC case. On the other hand look who gained. It was only MK's family members thru three families. Not even DMK workers have benefited. He seem to encourage dynasty rule for his family members whereas earlier few years ago, he was agaisnt such dynasty rule thru Indira gandhi's family. Politics are for personal benefits of the politicians and not for India's benefit. Now in 2009 Farroq Abdulla is inducted as minister and J&K is being brount in to main stream of Indian Govt. But 1) will J& K govt agree to do away with article 370? 2) will UPA govt take steps to give justice to the parliament attack victims by upholding the sentance alrealy declared? Same old muddy pools.
Corruption starts from you and me and not form the politicains.. If we pin point then every politician in India .. even an independent MP or an MLA will be corrupt by some way or other.. Even Rajiv / Advani / Nehru had some sort of corruption / criminal charges / sexual charges against them.. Better we people change first .. tham talk about politicains.. Mahadevan T

I was recalling the midninght incident wherein Karu was "attacked" by Jaya's police in August 2001. The rediff's pet editors are censoring that comment.
