Even common people were fighting for price rice and security issues.
Why british and american intelligence person are there to Sonia's media management.
Its in Congress. Indira Gandhi was disqulaified as PM because of fraud in election by Allahabad Highcourt after that Emenergency everyone knows.
This time by the time Jaychands will realize it will be too late.

One frequently hears that Rajiv Gandhi's
grandfather (nanaji) was
Pandit Nehru. But then we all know that everyone
has two grandfathers,
the paternal (dadaji) and the maternal (nanaji) grandfathers.

In fact, the paternal (dadaji) grandfather is deemed to be
the
more important grandfather in most societies.

Why is it then, nowhere, we find Rajiv Gandhi's
paternal (dadaji)
grandfather' s name? It appears that the reason
is simply. Rajiv
Gandhi's paternal (dadaji) grandfather was a Muslim
gentleman from the Junagadh
area of Gujarat.

Overview of Indian Politics
by Bharatiya on May 22, 2009 11:44 AM  | Hide replies

Nearly all the princes and princesses of our oligarchy are educated abroad.

Their fathers/ mothers indulged in rampant corruption and made a mess of the country's education system along with all other systems.

This is the reason they send their children to study abroad and they rush to foreign hospital when they fall sick. All this is at our cost.

Still majority population of the country votes for them like mindless zombies.

The OTHER type of desi (oops.."swadeshi") politicians are products of our desi education system. They deliver fiery speeches supporting one caste/ religion or the other, some of them are hand in hand with criminals and the others indulge in communal riots.

The country is stuck between the devil and the deep sea.

God help us.

This will remain as long as all of us remain of the thinking that to be law abiding is to have no will. We think it a great show of confidence and will power to thwart the law of the land. We make heroes of the absolute villains. It is not 'they' who can or will do any thing to change it, it is 'we' who can, by rejecting the candidtes with criminal records. The sad part is that we vote for even a bandit if he promises us some petty satisfaction in the form of killing the members of other community or some petty monetary gains. I am sure that if Verappan was not dead, he would be contesting (and winning) elections. Phoolandevi and Arun Gavli are examples.

Rahul beats all of these young MPs
by R on May 22, 2009 11:19 AM  | Hide replies

While all these young MPs have had their father and grand father as MPs, Rahul beats them all. He had great-grand-father as MPs.

Sardar Patel's son once got a job by using his father's name. The moment Patel got to know he asked the employer to remove his son. I think this is the right thing to do.

Contrary to Patel, Nehru has created dynasty. This is a wrong example and now everybody in Congress is following those footsteps.

Sadly in Congress, PMs son become PM, Minister's son become son, MP's son become MP, MLA son's become MLA.

India's rising number of sleaze MPs. Trespassing to murder.
by Spiderman on May 22, 2009 10:08 AM  | Hide replies

FROM ALJAZEERA: The number of MPs facing criminal charges has increased by 20 per cent. The number of MPs facing charges ranging from trespassing to murder went up to 153 from 128 in the last Lok Sabha or lower house of parliament that has 543 elected seats. "The situation is going to be the same until political parties show the will to change and stop giving tickets to people with criminal backgrounds," Bairwal said. Where those facing charges dominated the slate, however, voters had little choice but to pick among them.
ASSET INCREASE
The same study also found that the new Lok Sabha has far richer MPs than the previous ones.

The average assets of MPs from most parties have increased in these elections.

While the average asset of a Congress party MP in 2004 was Rs.340m ($7.16m), it is now double at Rs.680m. In the case of the Bharatiya Janata Party, the figure tripled from Rs.120m to Rs.360m.

Dear Spiderman:

I am sure you now realise why there is a struggle for the so called CREAMY MINISTRIES!!!!Why do these so called Public Servants (MPs) want ministries where the resource allocation is highest. When it comes to money making and swindling all political parties (WITH POSSIBLE EXCEPTION OF CPI, CPI-M)including Congress and BJP are no different. There is no point mentioning the others like BSP, SP, LJP, RJD and so on.

Why to blame politicians? were people eating cowdung when they voted? People to be blamed. Be happy that our country will be quoted as developing country fro next 100 years.Better to leave this country and settle elsewhere. India will go to dogs in next 5 years.
