Who ever has to come to power is not on account of true democratic franchise but on account of deep understanding between ruling partners(though do not appear in public as parteners). All such ruling governments have manupulated the frachise with convience of relevanr machinery & mechanism other wise such a vast change voting pattern is imposible. Though under India system of legal practices it is not possible to expose it but the results are quiet suspecious and victories not worth to gain public confidence. This is how the leaderships are enforced and rule by dynasty is imposed by ruling monarchies under the the politically genuine term democracy.

AND LOOK AT THIS : BIJU PATNAIM NEVER ONCE, DURING ELECTIONS OR OTHER WISE, SAID THAT HIS STATE IS NUMBER ONE AND HAD REPLACED THE PREVIOUS STATE NUMBER ONE. THIS LIBERTY WAS ALSO NOT TAKEN BY NITISH KUMAR. BOTHM BIJU PATNAIK AND NITISH KUMAR CAME OUT WITH FLYING COLOURS. AND THE ONE MINISTER WHO BOASTED EVERY WHERE IN INDIA THAT HIS STATE IS THE NUMBER ONE HAS NOW TASTED DUST. IT IS ANOTHER STORY THAT HE COULD NOT GO TO USA BECAUSE HE DID NOT GET THE VISA, OTHER WISE HE WOULD HAVE BOASTED THERE ALSO.

Go to Gujarat.... there has been indeed changes in the way govt and beurocrats work. Hospital deliveries have increased from 40% t0 around 70%, near 100% enrollment of girlchild in school, court timings have increased and number of pending cases brought down from 1 crore to 20 lakhs.. plan to have zero pendency by 2010. These are indeed huge achievments even after discounting the fall in corruption and high infrastructure development. You know why we miss these things coz we dont care.... we dont care about naxalite problem in 25% of the country.... we dont care about illegal bangladeshi immigrants taking away the labor market from our ppl let alone the potential threat they are.... we dont care when this govt ask the flood relief money back from Bihar and Orrisa.... we dont care about the serial bombings that took place in the country in last 5 years... we dont care and we forget that it was Gujarat ATS that first nabbed those behind these blasts by IM... because we are so diverse that for us our country do not extend beyond our living room.

all the media cares is about a riot that took place 7 years ago in response to a brutal massacre. it does not matter if worse riots have taken place elsewhere or if the media inflamed passions by showing bodies of charred victims repeatedly. and for hindus in India it does not matter if somebody calls their icons drunkards and makes plans to destroy natural structures of religious importance. Ladli Laxmi Yojana scheme was started by the BJP govt in MP in 2006. In a very short time, it has proved to be one of the most successful social welfare schemes in the history of the state.
Under the scheme, the state govt buys saving certificates of Rs 6,000 each year for five consecutive years for every girl born in a family.
The girl gets Rs 2,000 after she completes her Class 5, another Rs 4,000 after she completes Class 8, Rs 7,500 after she completes the Class 10, Rs 200 per month in her 11th standard and a lumpsum amount of Rs 1,18,000 after she enters the 12th standard or, alternatively, attains the age of 18.
The principal aim of the scheme is to eliminate school dropout among girl students and to encourage them to study at least upto pre-college level. Kanyadhan Yojna: state gives Rs 7,500 for poor families during the time of a girl's marriage, and Janani Suraksha Yojna: state provides all economic & health support to a pregnant woman till the time of delivery. This is what I (as an Indian) call development of girl child; unfortunately no media will project this, but will project BJP as T@liban if some Sene beats a girl who goes to a pub only coz it happened in a state ruled by BJP. This bias is going to be the undoing of the Congress

thank god the angry bold man did not visit the bihar and the orrisa portion, otherwise, nitish kumar and biju patnaik would have met the same fate as other states.

Mr. Satyabrat Das what ever you talk is absolutely rubbish. O.K. leave every thing, can you tell what is rate of oil and grains. Did you ever saw this hike in NDA rule. Do you remeber, in NDA regime once the onions rates zoomed very high and Vajpei the then pirme minister immdiately took action and from the next months onwards the rates dipped a lot. What your party's goct did for price escalation of fdood grains and day to day reqiurements. AAm aadmi wants Roti, Kapada aur Makan they care less for seculairims or N Deal.
