India needs two party system. Congress and BJP. Now that Congress has won, BJP and its supporters should accept the defeat gracefully and find out the reasons for what attributed to their fall.
MMS has clean image. BJP faulted in attacking him unnecessarily. Few fanatics have driven BJP to defeat by making them tow the Hindutva line which has lost its utility. Too much of viciousness and personal attacks are also the main reasons.
BJP should hence after take the real issues of development. The religion, caste and personal attacks on others will not take them anywhere. Many from minorities do like BJP for the development works they have done. However, tremendous fear has been created by few within BJP in the minds of minorities. 15% MUSLIMS & 3% CHRISTIANS is a very big votary, to be lashed at every now & then. Let BJP take up the real issues of survival and I am sure they will occupy the seat of Power in 2014. Raman Singh & Shivraj Singh Chauhan are the examples. Modi has done great job as CM in Gujarat. However, he should stop attacking muslims and the Gandhi family. His works will speak for him

A very balanced advice. India has a long history of tolerance no one to compete in the World. It all started with the Rath Yatra of Advani and rest is History. I am sure if we realize our roots and follow the advice/suggestions given by Pranav why cant we realise the dream of Mera Bharat Mahaan.

Pranav We do not require any opposition party in India. India should rule by Gandhi dyansty for ever. Then only India will progress.

NO ELECTION IN INDIA CAN BE WON HENCEFORTH WITH OUT MINIORITIES SUPPORT.OFFICIALLY THE MUSLIM PERCENTAGE AND CHRISTIAN IS 15% AND 2%, IN REALITY MUSLIMS FORM 20% AND CHRISTIANS 4% THAT MAKES IT 24% AND MINORTIES CAN TILT THE SCALES IN 240 SEATS, THEREFORE BJP CAN NEVER DREAM OF COMMING TO POWER IN INDIA AGAIN UNLESS THEY HAVE ALLIES LIKE JD(u)etc ,MUSLIMS AND CHRISTANS FAVOUR THESE PARTIES AS THEY ARE NO THREAT TO THEM.JAI HIND

That is true Pranav. Hitting out at minorities, creating fear in theur minds about their survival and spreading poison in the society are the real reasons of their defeat. They thought Modi's charisma in Gujarat will do wonder all over India. However, India is not Gujarat and all others are not Gujjus.

BJP would have to change. But can they change? Can they dis-engage themselves from the clutches of RSS. And more importantly will they be able to retain their reckoning in national politics should they choose to change?

The bjp leaders don’t know the term called accountability not even one person has resigned after the loss Pramod Mahajan had resigned when they lost last election but now all bjp leaders are power hungry. Look at rahul he is not after power his main objective is to strengthen the party. I admire Priyanka bcoz she has pardoned her dad’s k@llers where can u find such modest and humble people nowadays. The bjp leaders know only to spit venom great to see that people have shown them the door.

Guidance is from Cong parliamentary pary headed by chairperson Sonia Gandhi. Whats bad in it. BJP is guided by RSS & Commies are also guided by politburo.
