The congress has gained what Samajbadi party of Mulayam Singh lost in UP. This is because of his aliance with Kalyan Singh which made Muslim shifting from SP to Congress. In Rajasthan, congress formed the government and that resulted it having an edge over the BJP.Further, there was infighting between the BJP and also Shekhawat directly attacking BJP have helped congress. Advani's personal criticism of Manmohan Singh has also annoyed Sikh voters to shift towards the Congress.BJP has performed badly in Uttrakhand also bacause of internal fighting. This being a minor setback for the BJP at present should concentrate on the nation building with the motive of Sarvajana hitay and sarvajan sukhai
