It is quite but natural that a leader has to depend on some people to implement the decisions. Normally a coterie takes shape once power is there and they try to show everything is in order. She is the leader and made a decisive victory over the other parties and ruling the state. That does not mean that she can change the system altogether. There cannot be a Govt. with out a treasury, revenue and police departments and there is scope for taking some speed money to do things. Otherwise one has to wait till his/her turn comes in the normal course of time and in such instances definitely the result will not be to the liking of the applicant/petitioner. Who is responsible to this system. I can say that it is because the officials are emulating their political bosses. In politics money making need not be answered, but in officialdom occasionally some cases of corruption come to light by the Anti Corruption department. It raids are done only for normal business people. Even during elections, lot of money was seized in Andhra Pradesh due to the unstinting discharge of duties by the DGP posted during the elections to AP Assembly but I do not know whether the IT department is carrying out any further action on the people from whom the money was seized. If the top becomes corruption free the lower people also follow suit and then the system improves. No one can save or cut short the redtapism. If two party system develops then the voters have a choice to elect the better party.

Now the congress shd not allow Maya, Lalu and Mulayam to be associated with the govt at all.this is the time to shw them the door for ever and then only they can consolidate in UP and else were.If you bring this khicdi again then things are bound to come to same stage were they started.Jus for the reason that these parties are not national parties and they are not nationalistic as well so they dont deserve to be a part of the Govt its better to get all the independents as they are the people who have their own clout and have been able to win even with all big poltical heavy weights were contesting,Develop the country and then the party will automatically developed its the otherway around parties wan to get developed and leave the nation to the mercy of GOD

I fully agree. If Congress takes them, they will be dishonouring public mandate and would lose the credibility they have built in this elections. Congress should stay away from Maya, Mulayam, Lalu, Paswan, Sharad Yadav, Karat.
But Congress has the history of being a cunning political party. They know that these parties can be used for wrong purposes, For example:
1. They used Mayawati in President elections and in turn wiped out CBI cases against her. Then dumped her when the job was over. 2. They used Mulayam in Cash for Vote scam for the Nuclear deal passage in Loksabha, then dumped him. Mulayam got tons of cash and some CBI cases wiped out.
Mulayam, Maya, Lalu, Paswan and Congress all know that they will be useful to each other when time comes. After all, all these parties are part of same circle.

Even Nitish Kumar seems to be learning from Mayawati. His statement before counting that he is keeping "options open" breached his image.
His party President seems to be in spoiler mood and if they go this way, they too will meet Maya/Mulayam way. Because people have set the expectation and watching them.
