A strong opposition is also necessary in democracy to keep check on the ruling party. Do not under estimate the role of stong opposition in democracy. Have congress not lost election in 1999. They have lost many state assembly elections also. Still BJP is having their governments is more states than congress. In democracy public can teach lesson to any party. Do not dance too much on congress victory.
