Narendra Modi exposed himself as nothing more grandiose than a fire-breathing local satrap with no national support or following. Behind some of the surprising wins and losses, the one thing that became abundantly clear was the mood of the nation - it was a loud and clear signal to fundamentalist forces that the party's over for them. It was an equally resounding slap in the face for jet-setting commies, a la Karat, who looked whipped while addressing the press. And a sweet (almost touching) assurance to the Didi of Kolkata that she rules the hearts of her loyalists. So, who do you think came of age in this election? You might say it's Rahul. I'd say it's the voter.

Yes u r right, modi , advani ji , nobody coming to camera , they r shunning it contantly , avoiding the media .
TRS , AkaliDal, RLD given strong indication to deattch from NDA , shivsena also trying to get rid of bjpee, nda at 2004 had 24 allies, now they r having 3-4 , the canceled the NDA meeting just becoz TRS and AKali said they wont join this meeting , and it wud b shamefull for bjpee to show that nda is dissolving so they cancelled out the meeting.
Unless there is huge difference in ideology if both parties are almost th same then bad things like caste and religion come to front to devide them. With out Hindutva, BJp is almost a clone of congress. But hindutva is not a platform an opposition should fight on. what is the platform an opposition should fight on when the ruling party has the advantage of being the oldest party with a Dynasty supported by sycho phants?Even if ther are good issues to fight on will our 70% of illiterates understand those issues?

Congress is giving 1 Burnol Free for everyone who can't take their victory sportingly and gracefully ( especially BJP leaders and supporters ) ....though jealousy is incurable but people who r writing useless things on Rediff forum below shud make use of this offer and approach them accordingly...

well yes........with billions of dollars in swiss accounts..........they can easily buy burnol for whole of India..........not a big surprise....
Congress got 262 seats as against its own expectation of 210-220. They themselves seem flummoxed and are unable to explain convincingly how they got so many seats. One can say their surprise is in equal proportion to the sorrow of NDA. To be honest nobody expected such a comfortable victory to anyone. All said and done ,NDA ,perhaps did not deserve to win. But the question is what exceptional work has the UPA done to get such an easy victory. Since this is a season of conspiracy ,(Antulay etc) I will add my own theory of conspiracy. Has someone done some magic? Manipulation? Why recounting is allowed only to some , selectively?

it is not congress........it is USA......foriegn powers are behind this........sonia is just a mole.......it is a well planned operation.......going as per plan.....this started with foriegn powers insisting on foriegn ownership of media.....
