It is good that Advani agreed to work as Opposition Leader
by Ramesh Anand on May 20, 2009 01:58 PM  | Hide replies

Advani's stature as Opposition Leader is no less than the Prime Minister of India. He should be proud that he belongs to BJP,a party which makes all other parties shit in their pants or panties. That is the reason they all joined hands with Congress, though they fought elections as real enemies.Mayawati,Mulayam,Laloo, etc etc all rushed to Mela to submit their suppport to Congress inspite of the fact that they had behaved as lords and did not feel like touching Congress-untouchable party.Does it mean that these parties did not have any ideology to fight elections for? Does it not mean they fought elections to come to power to loot the nation? Advani is the proud leadr of BJP which instill owe and fear in the hearts of Sickulars that they have herded together to get the feeling of some security. Advani as opposition leader must give tough opposition to these thugs and not allow them to open five more Muslim Universities at Mallapuram,Pune,Kishan Ganj etc as extention of Aligarh Muslim University. It is a very big responsiblity and should ensure that public also paarticipate in anti university movement.Public has not forgotton that India could not bear the brunt of Single Aligarh University that it had to concede to give Pakistan, then how can India bear the unimaginable upheaval these six universties are going to produce Secon most important task is to unite HIndus whome Secular parties kept dividing so that BJP doesnot capture power.Lot of adventurous works is to be done by Advni

AMU or madrassas in India, for that matter get a lot of rabid comments but may I ask from which madrassahs have terrorists who routinely target India passed out. Are those madrssahs in India or Pakistan, as this could be a very significant point. To stress it I would say that madrassah in India provide poor Muslims a very affrodable and religious education. This is not terror training, if that is what you were insinuating. I would agree the govt. should and must see that educational establishments inside the country do not create an atmosphere of hatred. And this applies to those Shishu Mandirs as well!

Coming back to AMU as spoken by Ramesh - The constitution of India guarantees religious freedom and a right of minorites to establish educational institutions, so it is perhaps not for you to be telling how many universities Muslims should have. Although I would suggest to you to stop trying to even think of denying them ways to get education, as it could rebound upon you big-time!

Ramesh,
Now we have weak Opposition leader and Priminister. Even though MMS is a very good person, we need a strong and energetic Rahul Gandhi as Priminister of India and a strong leader like Mayawati as Oppositon leader. Anyway Rahulji would be our Priminister in 2014 with Mayawati as Opposition leader.

Mayawati is a JOKE..!!
by Ritu Singh on May 20, 2009 01:48 PM

Few days back Mayawati was tom tomming about becoming the Prime Minister... Now that she has been humbled, beaten and driven back to her senses, she is now again back tom tomming about how she became sentimental when Dr. Manmohan Singh addressed her as "younger sister" and now wanted to be part of the UPA...!!!

Remove this joker from Indian politics... She is only concerned about herself and how to remain somehow in the limelight...

Despise these kind of low credibility politicians...

What lies ahead .
by PKN on May 20, 2009 01:18 PM  | Hide replies

There are numerous Sickulars and Jihadis celebrating the victory of the UPA ( nay the defeat of the BJP ) !!
But the actual result speaks of something different - Sorry Barka the Buck doesn’t stop where you think it is stopping .
As the number of seats clearly shows the NDA did not lose too many seats versus what they got in 2004. The Congress gained at the expense of the left and the so called Third front and the Forth front. Those that should have voted for the 3rd and 4th (Af) fronts surely voted for the UPA.
The BJP refused to see this happening and were caught with their pants down ( or as the Hinduvata brigade may prefer with their Dhotis up)
A consolidation of the sickular vote to the Congress party – even when the sickular parties refused to consolidate is what produced the 16th May result. Lalu, Mulayum etc will now be cipherized . Congress will now become the sole Sickular party. The BJP will be forced to move more deeply in to its Hindutava agenda and hope that the Congress will try to keep its Sickular position by following a “Please –all- Jihadis” Agenda to make it relevant .
Let’s accept that Congress playing soft Hindutava or the BJP playing soft-sickularism will not work.

Hey Akshay
Remember what you wrote when the next terror attacks take place - even after which this spineless chors will still rail on with useless statements ("We will not bow down before terror..." "we will fight against terror..." and the like...) just to fool people and then make business as usual. Have you ever given a thought about what this Govt. did concretely to contain terror? How many more Indian lives have to be lost before these rascals wake up to eliminate the root of terrorism? And have you even understood what is meant by "spectrum allocation corruption"? And about misusing CBI to let a known offender Quattrocchi go scot free? Does any of these make any sense to you? And if you are still happy that these jokers rule you, fine, be happy in the certainty that your country will continue to bleed. After all, people like you will start to feel only when YOU or your family are personally affected.
