we should have never voted these people back into power
by praveen nambiar on May 19, 2009 04:07 PM

As per the constitution, we could have voted against all the political parties (there is a provision for such a thing there)....only then would they have understood the meaning of our votes.....now u have the same govt. and same people ruling u...nothings gonna change....i pity the radio jockeys and those fools telling us to go and vote....what good will it bring...a party from which the country has not benifited for the last 50-60 yrs., what would they do now...NOTHING...!!!!

Gullible Masses are always at receiving End1
by D goel on May 19, 2009 04:02 PM  | Hide replies

D. Goel . PKL., afternoon 4pm,Tuesday, 19th May ,2009.
I am no cynic but also no lily hearted gullible child.Of 75 yrs that i have ,now, seen as my life , forces me to come to the unhappy conclusion that we as a people are high on rhetoric and poor on doing real service. Alas, in this whether you are in morning of your youth or like me sitting in serene shades of falling close End , we are equally incapable of working hard impersonal good -work for good of every-body.So it is no surprise political Parties lead us up the Garden Path time and again and yet again! And still, Advani opposed the nuclear deal
by Vijay on May 19, 2009 04:01 PM  | Hide replies

Advani and Karat are the biggest fools born on this Earth. We are know India has a power deficit. MMS was doing his best to make India energy abundant by signing the nuclear deal with the US. Karat did everything to stall the deal because it was being signed with the US. But the bigger I D I O T is Advani who opposed the deal just because it was a brainchild of MMS. If he really was committed to his opposition of the deal why did he not utter anything about it during the elections? What a fraud Advani is!

Why are you crying hoarse? Any way the deal has been signed. Now wait and watch how much power we are going to get due that dubious Nuclear deal. It is a scam a thousand times bigger than ENRON. Calling others idi0ts does not make you a scholar.

the only state that provides electricity without too many power cuts is not ruled by Kaangress. In USA, people are moving away from nuke power because of ENVIRONMENTAL isues (yes it is not clean energy), only abusive kaangress fans like you do not understand this.

The cost of dismantling a Nuclear power plant is more than the cost of installation.

Power cut in Uttar Kannada the worst!
by tsering dorjee on May 19, 2009 04:00 PM  | Hide replies

The power cut in the uttar Kannada is the worst. There is power only for 12 hours from 24 hours. Even worse in remote villages, the power alloted to them are sold to industries and other big buck companies. With temperature rising around 25-39, it is really difficult.

These states voted for COngress with all the love. This is the payback for the unalloyed love of the voters towards Congress. Enjoy the powercuts as long as it lasts...

No, Congress is not such a foo to let you reel in scorchng heat..
by Siachen on May 19, 2009 03:53 PM  | Hide replies

In fact, the common people are looking forward to basic necessities like Water and Electricity, besides certainly other infrastructure, which after ruling 50 looooong years, this party could not provide. But now there is glimpse of hope since "jaagore.com" has ensured Congress to be again in the helm or affairs without anyones (any parties) alms or help.
