1. BJP is reduced to 116 - a good 90 seats less than Congress. This can enable Congress to run the Govt smoothly.
2. The regional parties are splintered. So no blackmailing CBI. This will strengthen the institutions of the country to work honestly.
3. Since Cong has won 206 seats, it can go with reforms in a speedy process. Montek Singh should be the PM and Cong should go full swing liberalizing one industry after the other.
4. No communist power in Parliament. Parliament can function smoothly in most matters without much loud mouthed MPs.

1) Cong should shed its 'pseudo secular image' and become approachable to all than just minorities. They should atop siding with minorities without reason. Educational reforms to take a footfront without religious discrimination (10% dalit christian quota, muslim quta, etc to be abolished and only on merit seast to be allocated) 2) Talk tough to separatists 3) Stronger administration with reduced corruption (cannot say nil that's impossible here) 4) Give NSG (National Security Guards) more autonomy 5) Stronger defense 6) Most importantly - control psuedo-secular and idiotic media who talk out of turn and blow things out of proportion without any basis...stop seeing things biased..stricter regulations fro brioadcasting
