There is rush to support the congress now. All of the so called "secular" supporters have judicial cases against them. Not giving support to centre will mean immediate action will be initiated. That will ruin their public images further, given the bashing that the voters have already offered...
Congress should be smart. In order to gain more confidence of the people, congress should take only independent candidates' help and go ahead. They should also be protective from Trinmool, as Mamta is also a time bomb.
If congress can show to the people that it will bring the bad guys to justice, that it can bring better progress by functioning alone, then in the next elections it is quiet possible that Congress on its own will get a majority.
What is Advani doing by the way? is he also supporting the UPA now :P
Maya ka support is a big joke. As if Cong was dying to get her support. These politicians are of such abominable and obnoxious breed that I feel like k*ck*g them in the b* ut* t.

This was on expected lines, she was keeping the cards close and choose to support the dispensation that assumes power.Depending on the outcome, the terms change. Had NDA emerged victorious she would have called BJP her old ally now they did not win she calls them communal. Mulayam demand was to dismiss Maya Govt in leiu to his unconditional support to Congress. Maya grabbed her opportunity at the first go- to hell with people calling BJP communal its their problem not BJP's.
