Plea to Congress/Secular party Pls do not divide nation further
by Kamadhenu on May 18, 2009 08:46 PM

On religion language north-south basis
Latest in the series of controversies centred on the Congress party’s fixation with Muslim grievances is the data collection exercise involving the Indian Armed Forces.
It is irrelevant and mischievous to mention about caste-based divisions in the Army during the British rule.
Congress leaders not only divided the country politically but also militarily. The military officers and men of pre-independence India , belonging to all communities fought the WWII together under the British.

Pakistan got a ready-made army at its birth. When Indian Muslims got Pakistan they also got a Muslim army carved out of the undivided Indian Army. This army produced Pakistani generals and officers who fought wars with India — the first full scale war being in 1965. This is history in living memory.

The Congress party having divided and ruled the country for decades is continuing with its dangerous game and monstrous thinking of doing a head count for the Army now.

bad media game
by krishna tripathi on May 18, 2009 04:51 PM  | Hide replies

bjp paid the price of inverse media campaign. this was the worst part of election 2009. the media, right from the word 'go' started projecting modi as future pm although there was no such comment from any bjp leader and if any, it was a personal opinion. modi himself denied it. swiss bank issue was not pursued. the mandir issue was deliberately highlighted and more important points in the manifesto were neglected. bjp manifesto was excellent, if anyone here has read it. Rahul gandhi is projected as if he is "mahatma" gandhi. what rubbish!! no such coverage for shiv raj singh chauhan who developed MP where as Sheela dixit gets huge applauds from the media. media drowned bjp...

Mr Advani should take out a Somnath to Geneva Yatra and bring the Swiss Bank money back. After all, he has massive mandate of people when his party carried out the stunt of mini-referendum in Gujarat, before the election.

india still searchiing a 2nd strong national party-
by hmm on Apr 16, 2009 10:00 AM Permalink

party is disciplined-
party has got unity-
party has brains-

if any other party gets those then it will be bettr for INDIA.
AS till today we are searching for a 2nd strong party at centre with all those qualities.
we got three in the past-
Janata Party-failure
Janata Dal-failure
BJP-SUCCESSFUL.
After Vajpayeeji,BJP looks to be a differeent, violent party.
hope it should not split & be weak by paving the way for Congress led GOVT like 1947-1977.
