My Dear you will never have to go to Delhi with begging bowl. Because its Congress which is always ready to go to anyone, with begging bowl, for power. And Congress is much more generous to Muslims particularly when they go with their begging bowl, than Hindus.

Even if you want to, it is not possible. Road in front of 10 Janpath is already occupied by Amar Singh and Lalu.

REAL VICTORY WAS FOR biased INDIAN MEDIA.
by Kamadhenu on May 18, 2009 04:44 PM  | Hide replies

Every media is owned by overseas Christian organisations. It was difficult to believe but the Election coverage by TV Media is prooving the point.
BUT NOW IT IS PROVED BEYOND DOUBT.
(1)No TV Media aired the News on the suicide of Senior Vadhera. If any such death had
happened in the family of a BJP person, the Media would have gone agog with the
news.
(2)Teestha Setalwad was exposed of creating most of the Gujarat Riot Stories and in
fact taken the Supreme court almost for a ride.Imagine a similar offence by the
opposite side. There would have been discussions, hen fights, opinion polls and
SMS surveys.

The MEDIA OF THIS DECADE WILL BE REMEMBERED FOR AGES TO COME. IT IS A BLOT ON JOURNALISM.

Is there any Indian who will lodge a criminal case on Testha Setalwad for her crimes against the communal harmony of this country?

Voters teaching every arm twister a lesson
by Collector Kalicharan on May 18, 2009 04:39 PM  | Hide replies

Laloo proclaimed that he, together with Mulayam and Paswan will sit and decide the next prime minister. His arrogance was vulgar and visible when he severed ties with congress over seat distribution. Since then he was spitting venom against congress and now, after getting a tough lesson from the voters, he is telling that he will not bargain for ministry and stuff like that. Same goes with NC, pawar; however, they stopped a step before bashing congress and are in a better position morally.

All are bunch of jokers. They know what had happened. People has given Final Verdict. Now, they are joking. Now congress is ready to run the Govt 5 full term year. No need to get support from others. Of course, they may require few independent parties. They do not allow Karat, Laloo,Mulayam,Amar Singh and Mayavathi in their cabin.
Well done congress and with best wishes

Though I am a BJP supporter, I am happy for the way people have voted. Congress deserved victory as they focused on positive campaign and grass root canvassing. Best part is that jokers like Karat, Laloo, Mulayam, Paswan have been wiped out. Also, important things is that criminals like Muktaar ansari, Ateek ahmed, Shahabuddin's wife, Pappu Yadav etc all lost.

Left were such a drag on our economy. They blocked some very important bills including allowing a maximum of 49% of FDI in retail sector, Insurance bills which will make available long term finances to reliable corporates thereby inducing much needed liquidity. Leftists were also aggressively pursuing Chinese agenda by blocking everything related to US.

Politics!
by harish nagarajan on May 18, 2009 04:36 PM  | Hide replies

Its become a game nowadays for most of these parties, to openly say that they are not for a post in the cabinet. Not sure if statements like these drive them to greater heights. If a party does not get a minister post(or atleast a MOS post) then what for should they support the parent parties. Totally unrealistic.. just shows how the common man is being made the victim here..

Now a golden chance forcongress party to run the govt. on its own terms and dictates without yielding to any sort of bullying or pressure tactics from its allies this time to extract plum posts in the govt. Let the congress party seek the cooperation and help of the independents to get the majority since they are not attached to any political parties which may indulge in spoilsport now or later
