INDIA FOR TAKING WITH MONEY AS PEOPLE OF INDIA WERE SELFISH
by sumedhaa prakash on May 18, 2009 11:39 AM

THESE ELECTIONS PROVED THAT PEOPLE OF INDIA WERE NOT BOTHERED ABOUT ANYTHING OTHER THAN MONEY. JUST PAY THEM MONEY FOR THEIR VOTE AND FOR THEM COUNTRY DOESNT MATTER. ACROSS INDIA POLITICAL PARTIES PAID MONEY LIKE RS. 5000, 4000, 3000,2000, 1000 ETC. PEOPLE VOTED FOR THOSE WHO PAID THEM MORE. SO WHEN PEOPLE THEMSELVES DOESNT BOTHER ABOUT NATION HOW CAN WE EXPECT POLITICAL PARTIES TOBE UNCORRUPT AND GIVE GOOD GOVERNANCE. PEOPLE OF INDIA THINKING THEY WERE VERY INTELLIGENT BUT THEY WERE FORGETTING A FACT THAT ALREADY FOREIGN COMPANIES AND GOVERMENTS HAVE LOT AND LOT OF STAKE HOLDING IN POLITICAL PARTIES, SO ONE DAY AGAIN WE WILL END UP LOSING FREEDOM AND THIS TIME THERE WILL NO "GANDHI" TO GET FREEDOM AGAIN.

hahaha good job AP
by ad na on May 18, 2009 06:15 AM

Step in the right direction to put the larger than life people in perspective. In India, we have sadly have a culture of expecting too much from individuals. Chiru is an actor and nothing more.

Hoping that

I hope that Rajini had watched this AP poll result and thereby doesn't spoil his existing image by coming to politics. Instead, let him take rest in Himalayas. TN doesn't need a person with charisma but well educated people to rule.

This is a lesson not for Chiranjeevi but for his fans too.
There is no logic and thinking based on reality.
If Chiranjeevi thought of winning elections, he should have thought of few things:
No doubt he is big big movie star but not an NTR who is larger than life for the people of AP
If he thought of winning based on popularity-he need to remember the most important thing necessary for movie star to win elections-movies need to be big hit. It is commonsense to understand that 5 of last 7 movies have bombed badly. If Allu Arvind was fooling him-then he needs slap-hard one.
3.Some of his fans need to understand that NTR and MGR have NOT come for caste benefits but for greater reasons.Even Chiru may not have such caste ideas-but significant section of his fans have delirious caste based sentiments that is bad example for democracy.
4.Chiru is not a patch on NTR for oratory skills-the basic skill a politician needs
5.Most importantly he does not have integrity of thought and independence.Just like some his fans think he is bigger than YSR or CBN, his coterie thinks Chiranjeevi is huge-in true sense one needs skills to win in politics.Sorry Chiranjeevi has not missed the mark but disqualified in this field of politics.

Sitting on a chair and judging is far easy than doing it. What's wrong in loosing one election, he's just started political career. He may not have the Charisma of NTR and Administrative skills of Babu or cannot be a ass.. like YS, but far better as a person than all. He himself cant win the election for whole party. It's not an MIM party to win few seats in Charminar sorrounding areas.

In what he is far better-the way seats were sold-the less you talk the better-because what PRP did was shameful.By the way 18 seats-is not something one can be confident about future.Instead of spoiling chances of political parties for his EGO sake it is better to shut and act in movies.

Why singling out south for each and every thing? North is equally bad on electing film stars and cricketers as MPs.

Who is Jayaprada, Sathrugnan sinha, the Dutts, Govinda, Azharuddin, Sidhu, Vinod Khanna etc...

Please don't try to divide India based on the regions. We all are Indians. Come out of your narrow mind.

ppl were not crazy abt chiranjeevi "just" bcz of his screen roles, he has done more social activities than probably any other actor could imagine n more than that... he encouraged ppl to participate in the activities too. now, that made him a "real" hero

Joining with TRS has really damaged TDP & PRP. People of Andhra did not like Babu joining with TRS.Even Telangana People did not beleive Babu Chiru and KCR.Atlast A.P rejected regional and divisive politics and voted National Party.
