RSS trying to help Advani. So nice of them!
by Yagnesh on May 18, 2009 03:58 PM

Advani met the RSS leaders. Since India had removed Advani's chaddi, they gave him a new chaddi to wear. They also applied ointment to his badly burnt 'hole-in-the-backside'. RSS people are really very good.

a lot of messages her ein favour of BJP.
Look BJP did not come to power because it vows for development.
However, in order to develop such a big country on a whole requires some tough decisions. Uniform Civil code and iron hand on terrorism are few to mention.
Howeer the people of this country have vested interests.
I have seen my own father seemed to be the only honest man in his entire organisation of govt service. Rest were busy accumulating as much black money as they can. today there is one honest man out of 10.
BJP promises honesty. This is not gobbled down by most of the hindus who are in govt jobs and are corrupt. I am confidently saying this because I have been brought up in such environment. similarly muslims are anyway anti BJP. poor people are baited by 3 Rs per Kg rice and wheat and colour televisions. so tell me who will vote for BJP?
it is good to see BJP managed 121 seats which means we still have some hope left in this country of the corrupt for the corrupt and by the corrupt.

bjp has no corrupt and criminal leaders ha ha, keep the fairy tales for yourself. All political parties have corrupt persons within them. On top of it, BJP also wanted to promoted strong hindutva through the brand of varun gandhi. modi and advani. I am pretty sure many musl1ms would have voted for BJP when vajpayee was around. BJP themselves have to blame why mozzies dont vote for BJP.

Excuse me .. I know rss and bjp from inside due to 3 gen of rss men in my family. But am not into politics. Varun gandhi was an embarrasment to bjp. Varun is over ambitious and wanted to win desperately and put bjp in trouble. bjp couldn't go back to letting varun go coz 1 seat got assured from pilibhit. That is the helplessness in a democracy.. u can only do good if u have the number. Congress is the most corrupt party ever. of course they preach non corruption but rajiv gandhi himself gathered 2500 crore dollars in swiss account..this is the nation's bad luck that a party like congres is in power and bjp isn't .. not once bjp has ever done anything to harm any community. but indians are like patients lying in a hospital .. can't think of anything other than illness or congress..

Modi-fied
by Vikram on May 18, 2009 02:51 PM

Bringing in Modi (in his current form) to national politics will bring in a lot of cheer to the opposition. There is little doubt that he is a good administrator but at the same time is a very venomous and divisive leader. he will need to reform himself before he can present himself as a nationalist integrative leader. Thankfully, hate and disunity has no place in the minds of most people in this country (though sadly it does in some people's mind). BJP needs a moderate leader like Vajpayee (god bless him) to come back to central rule. Good luck BJP and I look forward to its resurgence on the development plank and not on the basis of "haat kat doonga" type of mindset (courtesy Varun and others).

If You Don't Support Uniform Civil Code, Then You're Communal
by san man on May 18, 2009 12:43 PM  | Hide replies

The basic fundamental litmus test for secularism is whether you support Uniform Civil Code or not.
If you don't support Uniform Civil Code, then you're communal. You're certainly not secular.
You can try to make up your own special bubble of "Indian reality" but that's just a distorted reality to escape the real world.

If you don't support Uniform Civil Code, then you're communal. You're sectarian, not secular.

BJP need to change... Convert.. (conversion of mind)...

BJP is the party of FEW Upper Class Hindus... (Guj Money lenders) (marwadi business men)

They ruled past generations considering themselfs are gods own men..

They made caste system and kept fellow hindus as slaves in their own country...

If they considered their fellow dalits as equal, NO British, NO Arabs, NO Pathans, NO French .... etc,,, would have entered our country.....

Come back as a natinal party acceptable to all cultures, languages and religious groups of India..

UNITY in DIVERSITY is INDIA... NORTH to SOUTH... EAST to WEST..

Still they dont let their daughters marry a Lower Class Hindu.. ..still they say all hindus are equal???

Conversion is like change votes from BJP to Congi or Congi to BJP..
Conversion of Mind is your own personal issue.

Why you and me not getting CONVERTED....
I have a JOB.. I have an income....I am indepent
BJP policies was against.....PEACE...UNITY...& STABILITY...

BJP want to build temples & masjids all over India
NOT JOBS.....not Development of Poor people by support.....

For Criminal cases and rules of roads the rule is the same, the only thing is difference in Personal Law. Do you agree that every religion has a different rituals for marriages, property rights etc etc. When everybody has different rituals then how everyone can have the same Personal Law.. ??

Imran, You're Communal
by san man on May 18, 2009 12:18 PM  | Hide replies

Imran, you're the one who's communal, not BJP or Advani, or Modi.

You need to recognize that terrorism and national security are basic issues of vital importance, they are not just "BJP issues". You can't duck the importance of such issues by declaring them "BJP issues"

Uniform Civil Code is a vital and important issue. Anyone who opposes Uniform Civil Code is communal, by definition. You can't duck the importance of such an issue by declaring it a "BJP issue". This is how the dishonest Leftist and communal vote banks duck discussion of important vital issues - they declare them "BJP issues"

You need to stop pretending that everyone else is communal but yourself. Your dishonest Congressmen may have won today, but they won't win in the long run. That greedy party only cares about power and self-preservation, and they don't care about society. They will promise anything to anyone, just so long as they can get re-elected and retain power.

The Congress Party is the oldest and longest-surviving kleptocracy in the entire 3rd world.

You are right Sanman in this 65 years of rule Some hindus have take this advantage and they are on the top so if you really want to impose Unifrom civial code then you need to frist raise the dailts, Muslims, christains and all other caste to the level the hindus are right now and then we can implement so do you agree now.

What the hell are you talking about? Uniform Civil Code has nothing to do with caste or income. Uniform Civil Code doesn't affect economic status. What do you even think Uniform Civil Code is?
Do you even know what it is?
Uniform Civil Code is when everybody follows the same legal system. Just like when you are all driving on the same highway, you all follow the same traffic rules. How can you have different people following different traffic rules while all driving on the same common road? What does that have to do with how rich or poor anyone is? It's about a common legal framework. Every civilized country in the world has this, but India doesn't have it, because India is corrupt. Stop making corrupt arguments over issues of fundamental importance.

maybe it's the constitution burning, as Congress violates it by appointing their own party loyalist Election Commissioner.

The Congress supporters should admit it -- they don't care about the constitution at all, do they? They only care about their party. Americans have a deep respect for their constitution, and place it above any party or leader. But Indians don't have that. They just want to fall in love with a personality, like a moviestar or a politician, or family name. It shows the difference between the uncivilized 3rd world who wallow in their own excrement, versus the civilized first world, who build societies that their people are proud of.

Muslims THANK Modi for bringing them to righteous path of Islam. Muslims are more religious than before 2002. BJP-RSS-BD-SS have not crushed Islam but indirectly put them on the right path. BJP IS DREAMERS PARTY.
