REVIVAL OF Cong-I in UP state is a fluke, it will fade away since certain minorities shifted their preference from one party to another certainly it is not due to Rahul extensive touring in a special aircrafts covering over 200 constituencies.In fact the media has done half of the job for the Cong-I in general and Raahul in particular.

Putting up a brave front, Prasad said his party was successful in its mission to "destroy" the NDA and stop BJP leader L K Advani from becoming the prime minister of the country.

nothing like it. The votes were nicely split. In Bengal, it was anti Communist vote, in TN the votes were split, in UP it was anti Maya vote. In AP the votes were again split between the opposition.
Congress Party has great reasons for celebrating. However,they should thank the self inflicted damages many of their oponents made before and during the election. BJP hit hundreds of self goals.A party with may BIG brains an talents could not find a viable and universally acceptable agenda to convince the people.India is moving in leaps and bounds and religious sentiments do not buy.They could have raised hundreds of very pertinent issues of the misrule by Congress.They could even have resorted to legal means to highlight the omissions and commissions.They could not and the nation needs New Leaders,New Ideas and a sense of Direction which BJP leadership could not provide.It is only to be hoped that they will have a serios retrospection.Their infighting did the rest. Other parties like Lau,Mulayam,Paswan etc should not have crossed swords with Congress and it is no wonder people chose a National Party to their regional ones.The defeat suffered by Lauprasad should make him more humble. It is good for the people of the country that at least one configuration could implement its policies-good or bad without being blackmailed by single M.P parties. Wish MMS and Mrs.Gandhi well though I do not agree with many of the policies of the previous Govt.under them
Writing at this stage may not be appropriate time! Performance of UP is not stunning. Rahul factor will just fade away just like Rajiv. Rahul he is a poor leader and his becoming PM will be death knell to Con party.

Congress should select carefully persons to become minister.It is a pure professional job like a MBA manager to run the ministry. Every cabinet minister is CEO of the ministry.Hence a qualified and able administrator should run the ministry.a cook knows the fine thing of cooking.Hence a lawyer should run law ministry.Do not give gardener a job of cook .If done so garden & food both will be destroyed.Failures in congress was due to this.A gardener doing job of cook and cook doing job of gardener.
