Looks like lot of rediff employees are BJP supporters
by Raj on May 17, 2009 09:46 PM  | Hide replies

I see lot of BJP support on this forum. Are they posted by rediff employees? Is rediff do a chek on this? They should bar employees from posting their comment so that we get sn approximate idea of readers response.

Why ? Like is prevalent in this country, even here any kind of BJP support is communal or a sin ?

This is the biggest mistake the people aer making, Appeasement of minority cannot be secularism - secularism means equality among religions where every person should have a common law and should be treated uniformly (for which BJP has asked for a uniform civil code) still BJP is termed communal and the cong and other parties who oppose a uniform civil code for all citizens are secular.

Seculiarism to be redefined IN Bharath
by Balaraman on May 17, 2009 09:15 PM  | Hide replies

Sikhs getting slaughered in thousands = A MISTAKE.
Hindous getting killed in Kashmir = Political problem.
Muslims getting killed by a few hundred = Holocaust.
Poor protestors getting shot in WB under Left Govt = Misunderstanding.

Kargil Attack = Government failure.
Chinese invasion in 1962 = Unfortunate betrayal.

Reservations in every school and college on caste lines = Secular. Reservations in Minority institutions = Communal.

Fake encounters in Gujarat [Sohrabuddin] = BJP Communalism.
Fake encounters under Cong-NCP in Maharashtra [Khwaja Younus] = Police atrocity.

Talking about Hindous and Hinduism appeasment = Communal. Talking about Muslims and Islam = Secular.

BJP freeing 3 terrorists to save 100 Indian hostages = Shameful
Congress freeing 4 militants to save just a life of one daughter of I Home minister in Kashmir [Rubina Sayed] = Natural Political dilemma.

Attack on Parliament = BJP ineptitude. Not hanging Afzal Guru the mastermind despite Supreme Court orders = Humanity and Political dilemma.

BJP questioning Islam = Communal. Congress questioning Lord Ramas existance = Clerical Error.

Its time BJP owns a TV channel else they will be buried silently
by durga on May 17, 2009 09:12 PM  | Hide replies

REAL FACE OF biased INDIAN MEDIA.
Every media is owned by overseas Christian organisations. It was difficult to believe but the Election coverage by TV Media is prooving the point.
BUT NOW IT IS PROVED BEYOND DOUBT.
(1)No TV Media aired the News on the suicide of Senior Vadhera. If any such death had
happened in the family of a BJP person, the Media would have gone agog with the
news.
(2)Teestha Setalwad was exposed of creating most of the Gujarat Riot Stories and in
fact taken the Supreme court almost for a ride.Imagine a similar offence by the
opposite side. There would have been discussions, hen fights, opinion polls and
SMS surveys.

The MEDIA OF THIS DECADE WILL BE REMEMBERED FOR AGES TO COME. IT IS A BLOT ON JOURNALISM.

Is there any Indian who will lodge a criminal case on Testha Setalwad for her crimes against the communal harmony of this country?

All H1ndoos in India have decided and they have driven RSS people out. All H1nd00s want to work like mules and pay taxes, so that it can be used by minorities. H1nd00s prefer to be slave of Gandhi family. Afzal guru has ordered biryani as his life expectancy went up. Jehadis in Pakistan are lining up for India operations. They are more likely to have a good life in Indian jail than a normal pakistani in pakistan. Kasab is smiling. Indeed, Indias have voted in one voice for all of the above which is called secularism!

JD(S) is needed to stop BJP in Karnataka
by Old Mysorean on May 17, 2009 08:53 PM  | Hide replies

Congress lacks charismatic leaders in Karnataka. SM. Krishna is too old, DK.Shi is not likeable to all, Siddu's influence is limited to Mysore district and Krishna Bhyre Gowda needs some experience in ruling party. By aligning with JD(S), all seats(100%) in Mandya, Hassan, Chamaraja nagar, Bangalore rural (around 30) is won by default. They can also win 90% seats in Tumkur, Kolar and Mysore distrcits and more than half of the seats in rest of Old Mysore region. This will leave BJP with just around 150 seats to contest and out of that they have to win 113 to come back to power. If this is not done two weak parties won't be able to face BJP even in 2013.

These are not useless comments. If JD(S) and congress come together BJP will disintegrate in Karnataka. Better learn about politics and then comment.

you can trust anybody except the gowdas. they are the worst human beings ever possible. deve gowda is capable of doing anything to get power. once he gets power he is capable of dirty blackmailing and backstabbing.

congress, learn from what the gowdas did to knataka CM yediyurappa last year. they acted in such an unworthy manner that the people of karnataka did not want to vote for these rascals.

YOU CAN TRUST PAKISTAN. BUT YOU CANNOT TRUST THE GOWDAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If congress give a ministirial birth to Kumaraswamy is nothing but digging its own grave in Karnataka, Gowda's want power to sustain as a party. if no power they wont sustain. It was very strong congress belt . if JDS gone all the votes come back tocongress by default. it is up to congress to make a killing move now

I am sorry, and did not mean to be to be pedantic but the word you are looking for is 'berth' and NOT birth!

Berth means place as in a 'sleeping berth' or reserving a berth! Do they NOT teach proper English in schools now?

Any how they need poder. Why to serve the people or to make money
by sunil agarwal on May 17, 2009 08:12 PM  | Hide replies

What a mockery that Former Karnataka chief minister H D Kumaraswamy and son of former Pm H.D.Deve Gowda has been making desperate attempts to be part of the government. The Junior Gowda meet Congress Chief Sonia and while going to meet her tried to wear a Burqa so that no body can see him. And after the meeting he left with the back door of Sonia's house as she kicked her so strong in his a** that he had no guts to through the front door. He got such a kick at 10 janpath that he is getting treatment for piles at some Hospital. They deserve this kind of treatment only.

Getting treatment Not in 'Any Hospital', but his own father's Hospital (D G Hospital), coz his BIL can treat him free of cost (they call it cost cutting).

I presume that learned men coined the sentence 'Politics is the last resort of Scoundrels', this has been very apt to Gowda Clan.

I agree that this is cheap politics but CONGRESS is not pure as driven snow or beyond such dirty tricks, if they had lost the mandate!
It is just fortuitous that they are currently basking in the worm sunshine of victory, otherwise I wouldnt trust any of THEM as far as I can throw them
