"A country is not made of land; a country is made of its people." -- Unknown

DESPERATION
85% of Indians are languishing in an informal economy to earn $2 a day so that they can feed a MEAL for their family.
Hence their lives oscillate between DESPERATION and FRUSTRATION.
They will SUCCUMB easily to CORRUPTION and vote for you in ELECTIONS for 100 rupees.

COLLUSION
I pay TAXES.
With them I buy CIVILIZATION.
But almost all Indian politicians (Sonia, Maya, Jaya, Pawar, Lalu, Advani etc) CONCEAL their WEALTH in election affidavits to EVADE taxes.
India's richest sportsman SACHIN TENDULAR shamelessly EVADED taxes when he imported FERRARI sports car.
And Amitabh Bachchan, century's best actor as per BBC, evades taxes by claiming that he is a FARMER.

Indians HATE each other and does not want fellow Indian to SUCCEED.
Casteism is the hidden agenda between any two individuals in Politics, Business, Police and Judiciary.
Political Parties must be LOYAL to Business Houses because they are the only source of FUNDS for them.

by sivasubramanian on May 18, 2009 01:06 PM  | Hide replies

Where is the democrazy,Congress loot the country and distribute money to all voters,They are buying the vote,Not that people are voting,With money and state power they cornered the public votes holding them under fear.
Will this format indian democrazy can survive long.Media creating huge cry against BJP always,However people will change and defeat congress if all left are finished by congress then it is easy for BJP to defaet congress.
That will happen when ever next election is on.

Value of assets?? or source of assets??
by brij india on May 18, 2009 12:53 PM

All people in public leadership have to declare values of their assets. If someone has declared assets and the sources are above board and known, what is the problem?? In fact it is good to have people with high net worth to take to leadership, at least they do not have need and greed. But what if a person of low net worth wants to come to politics because he wants to build a sound asset base, unlawfully, misusing his position of power and authority. And what about those who mis declare their assets???
We need to ask the right questions.
We need to help in bringing about a change in leadership.
We need to encourage educated, intelligent, resourceful, performers, and honest people to come and lead the change.

MP's Assets as on 2009 ???????
by Manbir Singh on May 18, 2009 12:11 PM

Good news for Indian Voters that our MP’s have Rs. 3000 Crore (1/10th of real assets) and they all can register as Public Limited Co. and that company can be listed in National Stock Exchange and appoint one good Portfolio Manager for generating income for them. Finance Minister and PM not included here because, they will know the move of RBI, SEBI and can benefit from change in policy. This kind of move can reduce corruption and will give them enough time to devote there most valuable time for public service (Primary cause to join politics).

If, it can’t be done this time than it can be included in brain storming session in meetings for INC and BJP as other parties will not survive in future. Public, the Indians have seen their effectiveness during last coalitions and they are not required in future in Indian Parliament.

Hope parties (INC & BJP understands this).
