We all know that, but MNS didn't won a single seat. So MNS was neglected by the state. It will take decades to develop the stolen Marathi identity.

The fact, that MNS didn't won one single seat indicates that Marathis were already put back in their very own state. There will never be a state like TN again.

The votes were divided... UP and biharis have still to go long way to put us on a back seat.. by the way 7 out of 10 elected are Marathis..
This man Raj Thackray is born idiot, it seems so. He is thinking that he has done big job. He has forgotten that he falls in the same league of politicians like Mayawati, Mualayam and lalu...whom public has rejected so badly that after enjoying years of stardom they can't believe their fate. He has forgotten that people who try to survive on hate and divide meet the same fate which Lalu paswan Mayawati etc kind of people have faced this election. Just by beating people from outside will not improve Maharstra. It needs constructive brain and integrity...a thing which his kind of politicians lack and can survive at the most 10-15 years! Even in this election he has not won what he should have won after instigating regional sentiments...forget his condition in coming elections! The message of this election is loud and clear: India needs clean leaders not Bogus. This is proven by the fact that congress won for rahul gandhi in UP after 1984, Lalu Raj finished in Bihar due to development and clean adminstration done by Nitish Kumar, BJD having thumping majority in orissa for its development works and same with YSR from AP and Shivraj Singh Chauhan from MP. So thakcray kid..open your eyes and be ready to get packed and thrown out next election. India does not need bogus leaders who thrive on divide and rule..at least learn from your gurus like Thackray senior, Lalu, Mulayam, paswan, mayawati!

You have fed too much on Hindi news channels who repeat slapping incidents 10,000 times at one go.
The ppl who were beaten up were SP party (regional party from UP) who were organising DESH BACHAO ANDOLANS and where Abu Azmi was talking of distributing lathis to beat up Marathis.
As for Railway Recruitment, it is a scam for low level jobs, the local representation is ALMOST NIL. Can I dig up the railway recruitment exam scam where papers are distributed before hand and money reaches to the top-level, which was unearthed in December last year.
Anyways Raj Thackeray, even when he was in Shiv Sena had been peacefully campaigning against this injustice to the locals and the undue favor to UP Bihaaris (remember 15 years of consecutive Bihari rail ministers) in local railway jobs.
Rules changed for railway recruitment, Hindi as medium for writing paper is allowed for railway jobs in Maharashtra Railway boards.
Despite umpteem warnings over number of years, no justice for gandhigiri from UP Bihari railway minister.
Frustrations do occur at a local level. Mister. This injustice to locals have gone overboard.

Goldtiger, I appreciate your points. But please don't deny that innocent people were beaten by MNS goondas. How could one chop hands of a sleeping groundnut vendor on roads in Pune to justify his demands? MNS people did so in Pune. Pregnant lady was forced to give birth in the train's toilet. Is this the Marathi character or something else?
Innocent outstation student was killed when railways exam was being conducted. Did not you get time to think about his age, poor family before giving him death 1000 miles away from his home? Instead of beating the ministers and going by civilized way of protest why did you humiliated the constitutional rights and innocents?
Even India could not be freed by war and hate, and hate politics of Hitler saw his demise and Germany paid for it for coming 50 years! There are ways to protest. Every region of this nation has some problem. Bihar's north region remains flooded for 6 months due to negligence by Central government still it fights for normalcy. Things which your state enjoys are not given to Bihar. Its the center's biased policy of development which trigger such things. Fight with central givernment for even distribution of everything in every region of India. The day it happens you would have no grudges. Otherwise such things which parties like MNS practice will not last long and will collapse with party for sure. No one can live longer with his veins full of hate...human veins are not that strong to bear such pressures.

today ppls have voted for MNS , tomorrow if MNS dont perform , ppls will be back to BJP or Shivsena . So let the time decide .BJP or Shivsena was not good , that ppls voted for MNS. Its fair game !
Request to all Maharashtrian voter to vote for MNS (Raj Thackeray) in coming VIDHANSABHA for overall Development, less corruption, Security and asmita. RAj is sincere and we can give power to him once and see the change. I am sure he will do the best job that nobody has done in the past. Think about it.

the only problem with the locals.. i mean ghaa-tis is that they want money without workin hard. take any case say rikhsha walas. places where gha-tis r having majority like dombivali, thane they will charge u hire fares without meter. in bombay max auto drivers r migrants they go by meter.. instead of cryin and complain, gha-atis work hard
