I think this kind of language is a main put off for non-BJP (i.e. civilized) people. This is one of the negative points of the pro-BJP people.

Hopeless NDTV
by harsha bhatt on May 17, 2009 02:49 PM  | Hide replies

NDTV which is known for its proximity to Congress all along was showing DMK for both DMK & AIADMK for Tamilnadu's tally through out the day. Thats the commonsense, general knowledge of a channel that claims to represent the electronic media in India. A channel doesnt get credibility by purchasing awards for its anchors, purchasing TV ratings etc at self-organised events, but by covering the truth and nothing but truth.

When I see hinduism from a laymans angle I see lot of complexity and confusion and chaos. There lacks order and direction. The facts and wisdom are scattered around and fractured in space and also in different times. Many things are relevant today but many practices are questionable. I do have interest in hindusim as a philosophy but not as a way of living because, in practical living it has miserably failed to eliminate inequality and injustice. During the course of evolution hinduism has traced multi-directions and lead us to nowhere. No one likes confusion and complexity. Thats why we see Iskon picking up just Krishna and studying him in depth and formed a elite sect.

It depends on the way you look at it. If I ask my maid about Hinduism, she has no clear answer, but if i ask her about her customs, traditions, mythologies she has huge knowledge. hence you cannot call it complex just becasue you cannot understand. as long as followers unerstand what it is, it is enough. ALso, the Hinduism never felt the need to trumpet because ours is evangelize. peopel are free to worship what they feel is right. There is no necessity of order. it may be difficult for you to understand becaseu you are raised with customs wherein you are not suppose to accept any other religion as greater than yours. Thats the root cause.

correction: Also, the Hinduism never felt the need to trumpet because ours is not a evangelical philosophy. If people are interested in our believes, they can become one, else let them follow waht is right to them. No force, no sword, no evangelism. Live and let others live. (It is those muthaliks who created misconceptions)

Harsha - a point here, they were showing DMK and ADMK seperately in two boxes, but the latter didn't have space to fit the four characters in the box. I too noticed that initially and then when I carefully noticed it, I could see the partial A of the ADMK. May be NDTV should have reduced the font size of ADMK.
Have a nice time

All evil designs backfired at BJP:

Women attacks which led parents to feel insecure to send their daughters outside home for the fear of unexpected attacks and also the evil wave traveled across India, Pub attacks, Church attacks, Mosque attacks, Arson, rapes, murders, violence everywhere, Kandhamal, Gujarath genocide, Varuns hate and division oriented speech, polarizing society in the name of culture and religion, hindu terror which killed innocent hindus, Mocking decent man like Manmohan ..... BJP has terribly lost to its own ploys of bringing bad name to others. It is a disaster for BJPeee. I am happy for the verdict. Indian people are mature enough to judge the parties.

Clear RriggginnggOf Elections via Kangress appointed CEC
Everybody who was troublesome for Congress has lost:
Left Down 50%
Mayawati's BSP: Down 50% (Even though she was expected to do extremely well)

Jayalalitha: Last time 0 this time up, but not much at all, even though expected to do well
Laloo & Paswan(Had given Congress only 3 seats): Down 70%
Shiromani Akali Dal: Down 50%

Chiranjeevi: Expected to do very well in AP, crushed

On Other hand:
AP, Kangress expected to get smashed, sweeps.
Kangress needed to get a foothold in UP, Bihar, was unthinkable earlier but again, has happened
Kangress needed to crush BJP, whereever they had established a foothold: Orissa, BJD unexpectedly sweeps
In Bihar, Nitish gets so much success, it has upset balance between him & BJP. So he will start thinking of ditching them

UPA gets close to majority AND no one suspects that its rigged.
Kangressi Channels(NDTV, CNN-IBN) are exact in exit poll predictions, everyone else is wrong (Ha!)
Chief Election Commissioner has won it for Kangress. Just like the West-Indian umpire handing cricket series over to Australia.

NET RESULT, inspite of TERROR ATTACKS, PRICE-RISE, MINORITY APPEASEMENT, by putting rubberstamps in all important positions, Kangress has won...

Kangress actually winning in UP.
Huh???
Thats a no-brainer.. Thats RIGGINNGGGG

Indira started use of money power in Indian elections. That led to current rise of criminals & dalaals in our polity

Now Congress has moved ahead in the game by Rigging
This will one day lead to violence & civil war.

We are becoming another PAK.

Wait for next wave of terrorism & price-rise.
It is about to begin now..
