Arun Jaitley has done a marvalous job as the BJP fixer. There are some things even he cannot fix. Fundamentally nothing has changed in the manner in which India has been ruled (governed is not the appropriate word) from the time of the Moguls and even earlier. From the day they ascended the throne the Moguls were preoccupied in putting out fires from one end of India to the other until the day they left the scene. It is hardly surprising therefore that India could the enjoy the peace for industrial and scientific developments to properly take root. British rule put an end to that but with independence the bad old habits quickley returned. Rahul and for any other leader just like the Moguls would always struggle to establish dominion over India. The BJP would therefore do well to address its attention to win hearts and minds of the very that matter most.

Also next election have the guts and be smart enough to get the EVMs checked since they could be hacked in favor of/by the ruling party .Else sit in the opposition every time
BJP need a strong middle aged leader to lead them now and prepare for 2014.Sushma Swaraj will be a strong opponent for Sonia and it was evident in 1999 election in Bellary.Rajnath Singh is having base root in UP only and is not acceptable even among BJP supporters same like Venkaya Naidu.BJP should rethink their strategy and about leadership.Another issue they don't have an youth icon like Rahul Gandhi.Varun Gandhi nowhere stand near to Rahul as a youth leader who can lead in the future.

A Jaitley, R. Singh and S, Swaraj are no better than hyenas fighting for a piece of influence within the BJP hierarchy. They collectively shoulder responsbility for BJP's defeat; no need to look for scapegoats.

I dont agree with you sir, Mr. Advani has been a black sheep in the BJP and is the main cause of its fall.Give a chance to younger generation Like jaitely/sushma and you will see BJP in seat of power. Unfortunately BJP does not have a younger leader .The old junks dont want to leave the chairs inspite of a severe beating in Elections. TIME for ADVANI to go and take sanyas.

Friends, my findings: It is actually good Congress won. I am a staunch Parivar man. Let me put the result as BJP lost but Congress did not win. Congress has only managed to garner votes of all others parties and thank goodness, Communists, the third and fourth front (whatever they are for) didnt make any mark. Now, for the second part of analysis, throughout the last 4-5 years, BJP never did any groundwork, how can they expect to win all over India? Agreed, Congress too didnt do but they got away with the split votes of regional parties. Third, this is a great chance for the BJP to springboard back in the next election. For that, i hope the BJP will do some work at grassroot level. First, get out Advani and people like him. Modi should certainly take the centrestage. He and his likes are the need of the hour. If and only if, Modi or his likes can really DO something for the development AND also to PROTECT the nation (like how Gujarat is an ideal state), no doubt, BJP will form a government ON THEIR OWN.

It is good that congress won.I know that under congress leadership our country is going to be worldest biggest economy, politically strong & peaceful country. Under congress hierarchy every people in our country will get the result in every field. Jai Hind and Jai congress.
BJP is the party of FEW Upper Class Hindus... (Guj Money lenders) (marwadi business men)
They ruled past generations considering themselfs are gods own men..
They made caste system and kept fellow hindus as slaves in their own country...
If they considered their fellow dalits as equal, NO British, NO Arabs, NO Pathans, NO French .... etc,,, would have entered our country.....
Come back as a natinal party acceptable to all cultures, languages and religious groups of India.. UNITY in DIVERSITY is INDIA... NORTH to SOUTH... EAST to WEST..
Still they dont let their daughters marry a Lower Class Hindu.. are they equal???
Conversion is like change votes from BJP to Congi or Congi to BJP.. Conversion of Mind is your own personal issue.

The seeds of BJP's dwindling voter base were sown almost 10 years back when RSS and BJP upper caste leaders started ignoring backward caste leaders and removing them from positions of power in UP, AP, MP, Bihar, Rajasthan, etc. So much so for their Hindutva.
