Problem in India is the sau crore. Jub thuk we are sau crore, all these arguments will happen. HOw many roads, how many flyovers, how many buildings can you build if we keep growing like this. There is no solution until and unless each couple has only one child so that 2 will die and leave 1 and hence population can be halved in the next 40-50 years. Until then we will all be arguing and fighting for space, crowd, education seats etctetc

Congratulation Congress! It is democracy so the majority peoples of India given verdict in favor of Congress based on the report card of the last Five Year and decided who the best. So it is does not matter inflation went up, terrorist issues, corruption etc. I remind all of you in previous election in year 2004, BJP was in the power and they made slogan that INDIA SHINING so they decided to get parliament dissolved 6 month before its terms gets ended for their own benefits. They cheated to people but our Indian peoples are so smart they show the way to out. Again it does not matter what they did but BJP not at par what are we expecting from them and committed in their manifesto. This year also you can see the manifesto of the different parties wherein you will find how the national and regional parties are trying to fool the people or it is just stunt of getting the support. In congress manifesto clearly mentioned we are going to people based on the report card and will continue the same to peoples. As all of you know majority of the urban population don’t cast their vote it is bitter truth but in rural area this % is usually more and majority (70%) population lives in this area so the developments need to see at their level and they should feel what government doing for them which is elected by them. I do not prefer any regional parties because they do not having their concrete ideology they just try to cheat to the people and making N number of fake commi

Afzal Guru was held in custody during NAD's rule. Why did they choose to keep him alive? Why couldn't they kill him?
Congrats to the winners!! But can we look into how this was made possible..at least in TN, the Congress and DMK used their money power. They distributed 500 rs to every family in the last week. The distribution was going on even the last day before elections. While there was a chance EC could have taken action if it had responded immediately, nothing was done against them and the whole state knows that money was distributed. It is a shame !!! now its the turn of these parties to make up for the money lost (they gave to the public). we need a revolution in this country !!! why is it difficult to find 543 good hearted, educated, helping people out of the 1 Billion population we have !! :( :( :( shame on us !!

Super Star, I hail from Tamilnadu, and was in Chennai till a month back and believe I am qualified to talk about the political scene (I live in Bangalore).
there are contradictions in what is being discussed. Vaiko/Jayalalithaa says that money played a part in the victory. Seeman says that anti-Eelam stance cost congress the victory. If you put them together, there is only 1 conclusion:
1. if people really cared about Tamil Eelam, then Vaiko (and all his cronies) must have won hands-down, 2. since they have not, it only means that common man is more worried about his well-being than about Tamil Eelam.
Money or no money, Tamil Eelam seems to be a slogan only for self-serving poiticians, who are not prepared to risk their lives in defence of their principles. this clan includes all the cine personnel and the riff-raff called politicians.

In case if an unstable government appeared at centre, let me tell you, none o fthese things would have worked out, but now by today noon, I saw the ray of hope...
