Last time I predicted in december 2008 - Election Management
by chandra pant on May 16, 2009 05:53 PM  | Hide replies

Election management Theory:
Total Population = 100 (100%) and Non eligible for Voting (such as Minor below 18 years) = 30
Eligible Voters (i.e. above 18 years) = 100-30 = 70
Indian Society is divided in to religion and Cast so we calculate accordingly.
Hindu Votes = 70 % of above 70 (i.e. of eligible Voters) = 49
Muslim Votes = 23 % of above 70(i.e. of eligible vote) = 16.25
Sikh = 2.5 % similarly above we find 70 X2.5 % = 1.75
Jain /Parsi/and other= (70-(49 16.25 1.75) = 3
Now The Hindu Votes are dividing on cast and regionalism as below so we calculate 49 Votes as below.
Upper Cast = 20 % of 49 = 10 approx. Rest 39 are Lower Cast
And in that also Upper & Lower cast supporting to Different Parties are as under.
Congress - 12 , BJP – 11 , SP – 6 , BSP -8 , CPM – 3, JD -4 , other all together - 5 This is the fixed division of Hindu votes it cannot be changed. Now Sikh Others (let us join together it comes to 1.75 3 = 4.5 or say 5) this divided depending on candidate or based on how strong the parties are there.
Only and Only Muslims Votes that are United 16 % earlier divided in to Congress and BSP, SP etc Now they are polarized so this Vote will go to the Congress thus total Vote % of Congress is 12 16 = 28. (This 28 % is out of 60 % turnover of Voting normally 60 % max polling in India). Thus the total % of congress from 60 % is (28/60 X 100) = 46.6 %. No other party can cross this Hence Next Winner is again Congress Party for its well p

Advani is a Politician; MMS is a Statesman.
by New York on May 16, 2009 05:51 PM  | Hide replies

"A politician thinks of the next election; a statesman of the next generation." -- Unknown

* Advani has FAILED to answer MMS's simple question till date.
* What did Advani accomplish for India? (covertly demolishing BABRI MASJID?)
* MMS personal contribution to India is inking NUCLEAR DEAL with Nuclear Suppliers Group.
* And MMS defied Communists to get the deal ratified in the Parliament.

by Gautam Krishna on May 16, 2009 05:48 PM  | Hide replies

Heartly congratulations to the Prime Minister, would want to salute him for taking all the shit he has taken from BJP and to maintain his composure in those silly times.

As for Mr Advani he seemed to be absolutely no comptetion for Dr Manmohan Singh, i would want to ask Mr Advani had he become the Prime Minister would he not have discussed it with this party members to take any crucial decision or would have done the same at his whims and fancies. His comment on Dr Manmohan Singh as a weak Prime Minister has been outrightly rejected by the people India and now the people have definetely chosen a strong Prime Minister JAI HO
