Why BJP's Hinduism HAD backfired in Elections?
by New York on May 16, 2009 08:58 PM  | Hide replies

Showing Muslims,Christians, Minority communities AND Pakistan as an excuse,
BJP is trying to polarize Hindus VERSUS Rest of the Communities Votes in India.
Post Babri, BJP did not FORESEE that propagating Hinduism will intrinsically IGNITE Casteism in India.

As per Mandal Commission, 54% Indians are BCs and 25% SC/STs.
And these communities will eventually INSULATE themselves from BJP's Hinduism.

Hence BC/SC/ST leaders like Lalu, Mulayam, Paswan, Mayawati have emerged.
And Kumaraswamy, Naveen Patnaik, Nitish Kumar have just started deserting BJP's Hinduism.

* And there is NO such thing as Hinduism **till** 85% of all registered marriages in India are INTER-CASTE.
* Till then the truth is there are NO Hindus in India.

that's in the nature of a democracy, not a party, unfortunately.

i agree ,the amount of votes polled by MNS will show that he is a force to be reckoned with. I personally beleive that he should get a chance as i think we need a strong leader to get maharashtra to become the best state

Raj Thakre will spoit himself one day.
by Ucase on May 16, 2009 08:46 PM  | Hide replies

Raj Thakre will spoit himself one day.

Marathi people pull the legs of their family members out of jelousy, power, money, wealth, etc.

After Praveen Mahajan, Raj Thakre is next. The former ended Pramod Mahajan physically, the latter ended Uddhav Thakre politically.

SHAME ON MARATHI PEOPLE.

Raj Thakre is corroupt and takes money from illegal Bangladeshi in Bhivandi area.

Another reason is there are lots of immigrants to Mumbai who are anti MNS, Sena for their backward mentality on supporting NCP from behind and poking BJP from back.

amit runthla
congress' real politics
by amit runthla on May 16, 2009 08:41 PM

This was the only reason why the maharashtra government was not arresting Raj during troubled times. Same old oppurtunist politics. Shame not on the politicians, but on those who could not understand them, favour their ideology and elect them. During `70s Balasaheb did this, but could not expelled the Non-marathis. Does people understand that when that could not happen at that time then how's it's possible now.
