Modi's hlp required by Congress/NCP again
by Zameer Deshmukh on May 16, 2009 06:21 PM  | Hide replies

Modi's help is required by Congress/NCP during Maharashtra assembly polls in October, 09. Congress should invite Modi to Maharashtra to recapture the state smoothly. He was made incharge of Maharashtra by the BJP. So he campaigned extensively in Maharashtra during the Loksabha polls. & Congress/NCP got very good results (nobody was expecting them to do so well).

dont forget the spoilsport by raj thakre. BJP SS combined has lost overall 4 seats where Raj Thakre factor worked to undercut the combine... Modi surely hasn't done bad... media has made modi a monster which minorities have unfortunately bought ... but rest of india hasn't

The BJP goldguard is trying find a scapegoat for defeat in the best performer of the BJP.
Gerontocracy combined with senility is doubly dangeorus and just as self destructive.

Who does vote?
by samar mohanty on May 16, 2009 06:05 PM  | Hide replies

Who goes to vote?rich people?industrialist?IT professional?Even if these people go to vote these section comprised of very small number.Thes people talk more about politics, government but hardly go to vote. But rural people .poor people, farmer section they usually vote. The contribution of Congress is far more than that of Vajpayee.Particualarly the contribution given to the farming section is amazing. How can these people forget Congress which gave them such a huge loan ?waiving.Do you think the air condition room discussion matters much? This matters.Try to recall the time of NDA they tried to show efficiency by constucting road whilke thousands of farmers commiting suicide. They tried to sell even profit making PSU.They tried to destabiliseevery thing without human touch. An IT professional can talk about BJP but not a farmer

I agree, congress hasn't cared about fiscal deficit but NREGA and loan waiver seems to have worked their way... But otherwise congress is ruined the economy its affect will be seen and already being seen by the country ...

Advani : Politically dead
by prabhat mohanty on May 16, 2009 05:20 PM  | Hide replies

-

I always spoke against Advani. Since the time he rode that Rath like God Ram.

I hated this man from core of my heart.

Then, how come, I am not celebrating with gusto?

Even I am surprised at my own subdued reaction to BJP and Advani losting this political gamble?

It took whole day to introspect and I just did not have answer.

Now, I have the answer.

Advani is [ politically ] dead. And I would not like to comment on a [ politically ] dead person.

I wish Shri Shri Rathyatri Advani a long political sanyaas.

Unless. ofcourse, his [ political ] greed takes over his conscience.

BJP should its attitude , it should take Nationalism as the prime agenda not hinduvta or hindu nationalism. BJP should part with RSS since it is a fascist organisation.
if BJP is taking true nationalism as its agenda party will gain in next election.
Indian people never like fasist forces , the emergency , after that the shameful defete of congress. think all about it Mr. advani and Mr. Raj nath

BJP needs to be more media savvy. Its not clean image and good governance alone that wins elections today. BJP needs young, modern spin doctors. To rid itself of its Hindutva tag but retain its nationalistic tag. I think they are synonymous but obviously thats not the message out there.
