all the communal people who used to write in these columns and spit hate, poison and venom have disappeared. They should all die of SHAME but I doubt if they have any !!! How else can you explain such cowardice. They are true to their type dirty, mean, hate-spreading snakes -- they now are licking the dust.!!

There is absolutely no other reason than the ignorance of the common man. Conparty led by the Italian has successfully indoctrinated indian citizens into believing that she has sacrificed and that party is secular. BJP leadership including sri modi should hang their heads in shame for having failed to capitalise on the failed govt headed by the most incompetent PM we ever had. Hope they will reclaim their earlier glory of evolving and implementing strategies for winning elections.

Seems that only BJP supporters are educated and knowledgeable, all other are ignorant people. It is this exclusiveness that brought down the BJP in the first place.
No one can see the developed INDIA even after 100 years of congress power.coz if poor becomes educated and rich then there won't be any space for congees to hide.here i wud say if a family have 10 persons, can any body provide education for all(muslims). and these people then say that they r poor and needy so provide the reservations. this is how indian politics goes and see the future. one more thing is INDIA has seen all the development when this family is out of power. 1 PV narasimha Rao (Econamic reforms) 2 AB vajpayee (Got recognition in the world. anyhow all the best for the GOVT which will sit for 5yrs and doing nothing. so no problems and no questions to raise. thanks to INDIANS for this Verdict.

PM Manmohan Singh scripted the liberalisation-globalisation-privatisation New Economic Policy in 1991. And since these policies are probably what you consider development (ie, disappearance of the socialist welfare state), you should reconsider your position. No party is pro-poor anymore. The poor are only a vote-bank for all parties.

Knickerwalas' bootlickers (JGN,drax etc etc) have gone into holes they dug for others. Did anybody see even a glimpse of LK Advani and Modi on any of the channels today? "Lion" Modi is likely to drown in his sorrows for next few weeks and become a rat for for some time atleast.

Congress candidate Chidambaram was first been declared defeated by his main rival, Raja Kannappan of the AIADMK, by around 3,000 votes. He sought a recount, after which it was found that he had won by 3500 votes.
Earlier, Maneka Gandhi was declared to have lost by 22,000 votes to her rival Dharmendra Kashyap of the Samajwadi Party (SP).
But, later re-counting of votes took place and Gandhi was declared winner by 6400 votes.
