For the recently advertised Postal Recruitment for postmen (A non-officer labor intensive post) requiring Class 10/12 kind of qualification, for positions in MH, ads were issued by the postal department in English, not in the local language Marathi.
Further, knowledge of local language ie. Marathi which is a necessity for this jobs is just desirable and not compulsory.
As a result, 50 thousand applications from UP Bihar, while only 40 thousand from MH.
Rules are being subtly twisted to favor UP Bihaaris and against locals.
Local jobs for local people only. MNS should take up this issue and I am sure they will do so.

it is such a shame that we indian's still debate over other indians going in different states. rather than local jobs being for local people it should be best man for the job. doesn't matter if it is a marathi up bihari whatever.. and then we complain about racism in other countries when we ourself are racist with our own people. i thank god US UK and other countries dont have such ideology.. god help people who think that way.

MNS has no interest in doing so. Their main aim as set by their godfather Sharad Pawar, was to dent the SS-BJP vote.

"Those who are born in a Maharashtrian family are of course Marathi, but also those who are staying here for generations, respect the local culture and language of Maharashtra, irrespective of their caste, religion or State."
This party truely understands the federal concept of India, while is inclusive and nationalistic at the same time.
This party is about local infrastructure, jobs for locals and better local living conditions in other words bijli, sadak, pani issues.
If you look at the trends in victory you can see one thing - it is just 2-5% of the total votes that decide the victory for a candidate! If someone thinks ignoring a small group or by igniting an issue to hurt a small group - a group that may be over 5-10% of the total voters in a constituency - can change the verdict! So beware when igniting an issue to impress a major community by hurting a small population of voters!!
