End of eelam.
by Rudran on May 16, 2009 02:37 PM  | Hide replies

This election reults seals the fate of Ealam struggle. I feel sad to see that Tamils are going to be wiped out of Srilanka. That is for sure. There is nothing we can do about it now.

The pol leaders should think of resigning after 58-60 years. They are old junk. Why they are not allowing govt servants to continue after 60 years ? not next, Rahul should be new prime minister.

WILL UPA TAKE STEPS TO STOP CONVERSION
by durga on May 16, 2009 02:35 PM  | Hide replies

After Kerala TN Orissa missionaries aggressive in AP and Karnataka
Alarming 5 fold increase in Kandhamal Christian population from six per cent in 1971 to 27 per cent in 2001 ,It began with the arrival of Christian missionaries in the area who found the remote region very conducive to conduct prosetylization amongst the poor tribals. The conversions continued unhindered until the arrival of Swami Laxmanananda who put strenuous efforts to stop conversions and help reconversion to Hinduism as well. If not for his effort Kandhamal would have been another Nagaland in the making where the separatist movement has wrecked havoc in the state.
The aggressive Christian proselytization in Orissa today pitched previously peaceful tribals into warring camps of Christians and non-Christian. This has has vitiated the peace that has existed with various communities for millenia.
Why Orissa
Orissa has been specially targeted because of a huge tribal population. This allows the missionaries to work from the scrutiny of the media and carry our their nefarious activities.
In Kandhamal district, for instance, the Christian population has increased from six per cent in 1971 to 27 per cent in 2001, despite a law enacted by the Orissa Legislature in 1967 to prevent conversion by allurement, coercion, bribery and cheating.

tribalism is not a disease to erradicate - it is a way of life pl note dear you think conversions will make them elite group in our society. conversions are being done taking advantage of loopholes in the constitution and poverty of the poor. thats all - it is an international business

Young Man Whatever you say is all rubbish
at the 1st case .
We are living in the democratic country
Every one has got right to spread or tell about his own religion.
What conversion you are talking of in Orrisa ,In the name of Swami Laxmanananda You people have killed and burnt many Pastor .Shame on you .You have burnt many houses.looted the properties in kandhamal,
this is what is HINDUISM or what.
After doing all this ,Snatching the peace of all the villagers in Kandhamal leaving them destitute and without in Hill or mountain top,you are blaming Christians shame on you.
As far as UPA Govt or any other Govt none of them has taken not much measures to rehabilitate the villagers of kandhamal.

Atleast in this times of trial God is there to rescue and save the people of kandhamal and encourage them, this is the Christ they are carrying with them, who is giving them emotion and mental and physical strength in this times of crisis.
If in the name of HINDUISM you will keep on doing violence ,it will be slapping your own face
So be carefull.
