Great news for Urban middle class!
by sandeep kumar on May 16, 2009 06:43 PM  | Hide replies

For techies like me, its great that we have a clear majority in favor of groth. If the Left had a major say, then we would be going back to the hindu rate of 3.5 pc growth. Hope now that the infrastructure in cities, tax breaks,SEZ for private sector will be addressed. World is advancing and we cannot afford to be left behind. Also, lot of job losses are expected this year in the pvt sector, and i hope govt ensures the protection of all, with the injection of funds wherever necessary

These jokers of the industry don't learn anything. Had India went ahead and introduced the reforms insurance and banking sector, Indian banks would have doomed in the same the way many of the so called big banks and Insurance companies of west crumbled. The Govts of the respective contries had to come and help these doomed banks. Otherwise the hard earned monies of the people world over would have vanished. There has to be a moderation and Indian govt should learn the lessons from this recession and Industry should also learn that blind privatisation or indiscriminate Globalisation would lead to catastrophy.

Yes you said rightly that "the only trouble that will happen is the mischief that will be created by you BJP goons" as the Congress goons will be posted in all Govt. Dept. so they will not create the trouble. But what about the Communist goons? Will they allow reform to their ex. partner in power. Now that they have become the biggest looser their goons. are to be watched.

Bring economy back on track
by kislay kumar on May 16, 2009 04:54 PM

A stable & strong minus left can strongly pursue it's own agenda of economic growth without having to worry too much about it's allies. Dr. manmohan singh has got mandate to restore indian economy to it's former glory. Inclusive growth & reforms need not be pitted against each other. both can go hand in hand. we need to strike a balance between these two.this is the best thing that could happened to indian economy in these turblent times. Go ahead! INDIA! the whole world is looking up to u.
