Do you mean that Congress did not have any role in the demolition. It is well with the blessing of then PM all happened. But coolly they passed on the buck to BJP. If a state cannot be controlled by the centre then what is the use of our intelligence service. Let us not repeat this story any more. The success of the congress is because people have fed up with both the SP and BSP. Right time congress had smelt the same. that is all.

Putting the blame of Babrimasjid on Central govt is like blaming the police for ineffectiveness against burglary, when the thief is walking around free and thumping his nose at all and sundry.
Common, if a CM wants to fool the centre (especially by giving commitments to Supreme Court) it is very much possible as all know. But those who wear khakhi knickers wont agree, because they are the ones thumping their noses at the police in this story
I was a student of Congress politics since Jawaharlal Nehru was installed as the first Prime Minister of free India. What happened afterwards..(Indirah Gandhi&Emergency,Rajiv Gandhi<TE Terrorists,Congress demise.etc,etc) is all history. Congress is the grand old party of Greats with great traditions.Rahul's decision to go back to the roots and go it alone in UP has brought back CONGRESS to its rightful place in Indian Politics. We had none..? India is the second fastest growing country in the World..What we had after getting independence..? Now India is a Super power in IT, NREG has almost wiped out poverty from villages..We are very well placed in Science and Technology..Fought 4 wars after Independance..Don't think that India will be another US or UK unless the mindset of people change, thats not the problem of the rulers.
