People are no fools - they voted sensibly as they were scared of BJP, Bajrang Dal, Ram Sena, Shiv Sena and their cohorts who left no stone unturned to threaten them with dire consequenses once they won, and that Ram Temple building would be priority and to hell with everything else including development (Vikas). This led people to vote enmass for Congress to be safe and in sound hands.

truly feel proud of the electorate coming of age....across states they have voted for progress and pragmatism rather than negativity!!!!!!!!!!
A finance minister who set up office in singapre for his son and he played in the share market with peoples money and the biggest scamster this time if he would have been the finance minister this country would have been ruined with scams . we all know him and god has punished him as he was running a parrellel economy .
I feel sorry of NDA that they have been defeated. Advani was not fit for the post of P.M. Now atleast he should leave politics & retire.But I am equally happy for the way in which UPA have won the election without left & useless Lalu-Paswan. I hope that new UPA Govt under MMS will function properly without surrendering to the demands of Left/Lalu / Paswan. I also expect that Chidu will not be the F.M. Lalu & Paswan have been rendered useless by his own people of Bihar. For Years they fooled the people of Bihar. Now people will have fooled .Paswan Once demanded citizenship for Bangladeshis. Now its time for Paswan to apply for Bangla Citizenship. Well done MMS

beta UPA is going to require support of atleast 12 MP's who will demand their pound of flesh plus DMK will also play game as they have 25 MP's which is enough to bring down Govt.
This time again India has thought of choosing a govt. which is capable of coming out of tough times (knowing that recession in India is a consequence of American slow down). great decision India Cheers!

Yes only time will tell. When US is struggling to come out of the recession and battered economy, such believers are there who think that the new Govt. will come out of tough time and provide jobs to 1 crore people who have lot their livelihood. Tall order!
hmmm those peopel who werre sitting here typing rubbish from the cosy ac rooms thought what they sayis going to reflect the mindset of the common man. They forgot the reality that more than 50% OF POPULATION NEVER HAVE SEEN A COMPUTER. leve alone internet and message boards.
I’m extremely happy that at least the mouths of great Karat, Bardhan & team will be shut for 5 years. These unworthy fellows talked too much, beyond toleration.

Yes absolutely right, Not only Karat/Bardhan but also useless Lalu- Paswan.
now its very clear people of india wants only stability and they dont want elections every now and then. only congress could complete the full term of 5 years in rule. since manmohan singh is not keeping good health its high time congress consider rahul gandhi for prime ministerial berth & manmohan singh could advise him on his routines as prime minister. indian also needs a young and energetic prime minister like rahul gandhi.
