by J peedika on May 16, 2009 11:47 AM  | Hide replies

The BJP supporters used to mock and redicule Sonia and Manmohan. Rediff message box were conquered by these illiterate BJP whalas who wrote in good abusive English. Where are they now? It is tipical of BJP whalas. Out of touch with reality. Utopian ideas of Hindutva. Realy uneducated. Hope they will have some brain left to think and reasonalbe now onwards or to the old ways of destruction?

For Patriots this verdict is a slap on their face. For Traitors this is a good situation to exploit India. No more Black money issues. Bofors no more.Terrorists getting released from Jail one after another in the name of innocence. So all the more it's certainly a good nes for Traitors/Anti-nationals.

It's just a lead and not a win - half way through is too early to celebrate. Cong is best party when it comes to getting votes (sales pitch). During Indira gandhi time, they managed votes through populist schemes which left a whole in the exchequer. Now, along with populist schemes (rojgar yojana - aka distribution of public money to people by roster), liquor was added to the equation. All liquor barons and realty bigwigs are cong is not a coincidence. Thats one being in touch with reality. Nationalism sadly made to look perverted communalism. Sooner or later, reality will dawn and dawn will it big time.

Secondly UPA is not cong alone. Once won, Cong has the herculean task of catering to the attrocious demands of creatures like Miss.Mayawaati , Miss.Bennerjee and Miss. Jayalalitha - who , time and again exposed as nuisance to the nation - just wanting chair nothing else. There goes your 'reasonable brain'

Democracy won
by Raj Adhikari on May 16, 2009 11:44 AM

No matter which party is winning, the ultimate winner is our democratic system. That is what keeps India above all these dictator and communist countries. Congress and BJP have same policies so it does not matter who is at the helm. Dr. Singh is the best leader to lead us during this global turmoil and people of India has said it loudly.

Plea to Congress/Secular party Pls do not divide nation further
by Balaraman on May 16, 2009 11:43 AM

On religion language north-south basis
Latest in the series of controversies centred on the Congress party’s fixation with Muslim grievances is the data collection exercise involving the Indian Armed Forces.
It is irrelevant and mischievous to mention about caste-based divisions in the Army during the British rule.
Congress leaders not only divided the country politically but also militarily. The military officers and men of pre-independence India , belonging to all communities fought the WWII together under the British.

Pakistan got a ready-made army at its birth. When Indian Muslims got Pakistan they also got a Muslim army carved out of the undivided Indian Army. This army produced Pakistani generals and officers who fought wars with India — the first full scale war being in 1965. This is history in living memory.

The Congress party having divided and ruled the country for decades is continuing with its dangerous game and monstrous thinking of doing a head count for the Army now.

by mumbai on May 16, 2009 11:43 AM  | Hide replies

All the time mr. narendra modi use to pass comments circastically on Rahul Ghandi. Now his mouth is shut and modi has to learn a lot form Rahul Ghandi. Rahul Gandhi has the capacity to become a PM of India where as modi is not. Modi is just a novice.
