shaikhhamid, we have examples from many parts of the world. Even Construction of a Church is illegal in Saudi. I think you are aware of the "maths teacher" anology of your great aalim Dr. Zakir Naik.

Then search for X-Rated Paradise of 1slam and read an article by a Pakistani named Mr. Anwar Sheikh.
Babujain and the lot, t is unfortunate, but it is true, many educated people fall for hate propaganda. All over the world the impetus for hate filled extremist politics come from the educated well-to-do classes mainly because they are not affected by the strife that follows. It is also handy for them to keep the poor people engaged in these fanatic activities. You will also find support of well-to-do overseas people for extremist politics like Khalistani's, Islamists, or the RSS/ BJP. This is because of the inborn insecurity of these people who find solace in identitiy politics, especially when they are away from their moorings.
But informed, intelligent people do not fall for the propaganda of extremist religious parties like BJP or the Islmist type.

I still think BJP as a ruling party is not at all bad. Somehow, the voting basis is very strange. Same population in one state votes all for Congress, in another state votes all for BJP. I really wonder if bulk of the population really has understanding of what voting means, what is government's exact role, what are state matters and what are national...
BJP lost and we respect people's verdict. Anyway to all BJP junta - Do not loose heart, india had to fight for 200 years to get its independence. Our fight is since last 60 years only, we will sure get the independence from poverty, from corruption, from slavery, from misrule and from one party politics sooner than later. The fight is still on and we will sure win.

Keep dreaming Venkat but one simple advice reserve dreaming for the night only when you sleep or else if you day dream you might loose your job i.e. incase you have one to begin with.
For the Bjp,a party which got all the support during vajpayee and lost the return to power by a whisker in 2004 due to wrong campaign needs to look into its affairs very carefully and bring in more youth and increase the local spread amoung the masses, like the jan sangh did...the places were bjp has lost is minimal but the congress has done well in all the southern states......but unable to make astalwart like advani as pm will bring sleepless nights to partyworkers which i beleive should work for them in the next GE. Fear of failure should not stop anyone from trying....Better luck next time BJp.....

Vikram Chaturvedi, you can abuse and criticize all so long as H1ndus are in majoirty in India. Do you know what is the fate of Sikhs in Swat? They have been asked to pay Jizya and Taliban demolished their houses for failure to pay Jizya!

JGN those Sikhs are Pakistani citizens & not Indian citizens. There are many Sikhs, Tamils, Parsis, Jains, etc strewn all over the world who are not Indian citizens. India is a soveriegn & an independent country. India cannot fight for people who are not their citizens just coz they have the same religion as that of some Indians. Everyone at the time of partition was given a choice & those Sikhs ex their choice & decided they want to stay Pakistanis & not become Indians. Its not India's fault that since the time of Jinnah Pakistan's leaders have called Pakistan a country for Muslims alone ignoring & conveniently forgetting that there are many minorities too who have chosen to be Pakistanis. India by law is a secular country. Its not India's fault that Pakistan is intolerant. Anyway I have already told you that you have lost okay so no need to bring up irrelevant topics like Pakistan on a message board which is meant for India. But then I guess since your Bharat Jalao Party has lost so consequently you too have lost your mind hence the irrelevant posts all the time from you on this message board.

, read news report: "West Asia's Christiians declining in influence" in yesterday's The Indian Express and understand what is the condition of Christiians in West Asian Countries.

>>>>>>>>>1st due to nature & the other 2 times due to religious persecution................yes, that is my point. So your ancestors had to flee their native land due to RELIGIOUS PERSECUTION!!!! Now don't try to teach me history and geography.

1st there is no relevance of the article you mentioned on this post. 2nd All Zoroastrians were originally based in the Artic Region Belt alone before the ice age came & forced them out which is considered as the 1st migration in Zoroastrian history. At that time due to bitter cold of the Ice Age they migrated to europe en masse. Then to save their religion from extinction (this time not from ice age & most certainly not from Muslims / Christians as you suggest) they migrated to Central Asia which is called the 2nd migration. It was only when Persia the stronghold of Xerxes & Cyrus fell to Macedonians under Alexander it made Persia weak thereby giving the Shah the right to be the sole ruler of Iran. Then again to save their religion Zoroastrians had to migrate en masse only this time they migrated eastwards without any plan or direction & landed in India which is called the 3rd migration. Zoroastrians have migrated 3 times 1st due to nature & the other 2 times due to religious persecution. Even when they landed in Gujarat the King did not allow them in till they convinced him saying that conversion is not allowed in Zoroastrianism & if they new migrants adopted the Gujarati culture, language, dress, customs, food etc a promise which is carried out till date even after more than 500 yrs. Now I hope you are clear about the migration of Zoroastrians.

what do you mean by India has thrown them forcefully... then what will you say about RJD or CPM?
Again India is going to be in wrong hands, the reason can be because many of us have not casted the vote, many of educated society have not casted vote. Congress majority is only due to the votes of all illeterates.
yes it is good idea to have educated india. educated in the sense of really well informed, socially educated India Merely academically educated may still be voting for a divisive political party for the lac of understanding of the hidden agenda of a particular political party. So yes educated India, socially aware India is the need of the our and probably today's results are the beginning of that trend.
