The BJP govt in bangalore is doing really great. New roads, bridges, buses etc. Keep the good work BJP. Though I am a congress supporter, I appreciate the good work done by BJP. Having lived more that 5 years in bangalore, I see change coming to bangalore under the new govt.
Karnataka and Gujarat are 2 of the states which voted against those people who burst crackers when Pak defeated India in cricket. True display of nationalism. Time to be proud of yourselves Kannadigas and Gujaratis and some other states too.
I bet karnataka will shine among all other states in another 4 years remaining on Yeddi's term, unless dirty politicians of opposition do nataks to pull the ministers again back to theri parent parties. CM has great projection of Bangalore and state and he has qualified ministers with calibre ( not like lethergetic dharam kharge devegowda). Karnataka will be self sufficient and would not require centre's assistance even if centre plays politics in aids like how it did in last 5 years against karnataka. Votes are more vigilent than any other states, they have realised the real democracy than dynasty rule

Karnataka people specially those living in Bangalore city, coastal and Mumbai karnataka region are easily carried over by xenophobic ideas. How can you say Gowda is Lethargic?. He is too old but still thinks politics for 24 hours a day and he won by a record margin of 2,91,000 votes. Kharge and Dharam have also won and people of Bidar and Gulbarga have seen him closely than you and me. How can Yeddy more efficient than them?. What has he proved to you?.
Go and think of changing ADVANI & Modi to more widely acceptable leaders... forget about fooling INDIAns with the temple issue...
Understand India is a country of many cultures, religions and languages.... accept UNITY in DIVERSITY is strength of India
Dont talk and do like some upperclass hindus (gujarati Money lenders-Marwadi business men) who for centuries...... kept their fellow hindus (dalits) as slaves in their on countries.......
you need to elect a new soft and acceptable leader similar to Vajpayee...to win in next elections.......
Accept all cultures.... then only peace in India and there will be progress in India...
Otherwise we go back like Afganistan.. or pakistan... uneducated Mullas rule.....

LIKE GUJARAT & OTHER BJP RULED STATES, THERE IS NOT A SINGLE STATE IN INDIA WHICH CAN BE PROUD OF PROGRESS. SO KARNATAKA IS HOPING TO ACHIEVE THE SAME... HENCE THEY HAVE VOTED FOR BJP.

well said. BJP should have been shunted out. They are taking us back to stone age, giving girls a dress code & moral policing them. We are in the 21st century and should be thinking of globalisation & putting up our country as a force to be reckoned with on the golbal map.

how come BJP has not taken gujarat to stone age even after baing tormeted by the UPA .
funny things about karnataka is that people vote for the candidate who were originally from congress and jd(s). so candidate is not the factor. people had already decided to vote for bjp irrespective of who stand. 7-10 candidates were switched to bjp through operation kamal. good things is that some old corrupt politican lost election.

before bjp coming to power in KAR, state was well advanced compared to most of state. whatever KAR achieved is not because of bjp and to some extend not because of congress as well. read my other post. that give idea how bjp ruling in state. i don;t want to see and wait state became like bihar in 5-10 years
During election campaign BJP had declared that if they win,they will bring back the black money worth 75 Lacs Crores Rupees from the Swiss Bank, and will credit it to the India's Prime Ministers Relief Fund account, within 100 days, i.e.before 30 August 2009.
We were eagerly waiting for that day to come. We thought all the excise duty and Vat tax and Income tax etc will be removed at least for some years. But now BJP has not won the majority. We are worried now what will appen ? Will the UPA Govtt will kindly do the same action please ??

anyway even if BJP had won, they would not have done anything. Last time when NDA ruled, they made big promises saying, they will built RAM temple etc., but nothing happened. Each guy just enjoyed for 5 years & pushed away.
