In my opinion a strong govt is the need of the hour and UPA may give us better governance this time around. Good that Left, Lalu, Paswan and non-performers have been shown the door!
A strong Congress government at the centre appears to be a near certainty. The new government should give good representation to the youth (see if they can get rid of leaders like Arjun Singh and Lalu). BJP should pass on the mantle to younger members who are more broad minded - like Atalji. Modi can be effective only at the state level. It should also become more inclusive to attract more support from the public.
We need two good parties at the national level. The regional parties should not be able to dictate terms to the central leadership. Stability has become very important for the country and for good governance.

its not that BJP is untouchable, as it is it is hyped up party, but it could gain a lot if only it had substance and inclusiveness. It seems to follow oppress and rule which goes against it and it is high time they revive and fight back.

Yes.. BJP must be very very happy after winning Pilibhit seat.. Varun is their new leader.. But they dont realize that with that single win they have lost many more seats elsewhere in the country. I wonder how the seasoned politicians like LK Advani are not able to understand this simple fact.

I support the Congress in this election. But your article is grossly abusive. No sane person can accept such language. Elections come and go. Parties win once and lose later. The winners do swagger about till the people bring them down in the elections to follow. This is democracy. But your comments are surely not pleasant.
