I see many people say why to divide India into smaller states. They keep on comparing Telangana with another state. But my friends Telangana is a special case and don't compare it with other state. I know many people don't know about Telangana history and problem. I am going to give those details.
1. Telangana was separate state before freedom and after freedom. It was in 1956 when Telangana (Hyderabad state) & Andhra region was merged to form new state. 2. As every one know that India got independence on Aug 15 1947, but Telangana got its independence on Sep 17 1948. Nizam king who was ruling Telangana region declared that he will not join in India. Out Ancestors fought with Nizam army (Razakarulu) with the help of Indian Gov. and make king to surrender and its on Sep 17 1948 it was declared independence. 3. During merger of Telangana with Andhra region Indian constitution said that this merger is against will of Telangana people. If Telangana people felt that this region was neglected by combined AP then they can separate from AP ad form separate state. 4. Telangana region is ignored under AP rule. It's funds are transferred to Andhra region. Not projects, dams, no employment for people in state gov. and many more...
Please before commenting on this topic please know about the history of Telangana and for god sake don't compare it with another state. There are many other issues for demand of Separate statehood.

Go read Telangana article on wiki. There is a photo copy of State Reoriganization comission report which recommended to keep Telugu speaking Hyderabad state(Telangana state) intact. Also, see the links on that article with including references to planning commission report about injustices to Telangana by Andhra dominated establishment(beaurocracy, political leaders, industrialists).

To prove I am correct and writing any stories search for "India States Reorganisation Commission Report Telangana Andhra" in Wikipedia. Under this article look at 388 as below states. "388 Andhra and Telangana have common interests and we hope these interests will tend to bring the people closer to each other. If, however, our hopes for the development of the environment and conditions congenial to the unification of the two areas do not materialise and if public sentiment in Telangana crystallises itself against the unification of the two states, Telangana will have to continue as a separate unit."

do you require projects when there is no water? can u cite any example of any body denied Govt. job for origibnating from Telangana ? when posts are filled by merit where is the scope for such discrimination?
you appear to be educated. why don't you analyse things logically without falling a prey to ruthless partisan leaders who cry hoarse about backwardness. In seven districts around Hyderebad(part of telangana) an acre of land costs not less than a crore of rupees. can u still call Telangana a backward region?

In 50s and 60s Andhrites grabbed jobs in because litereacy rate is less in Telangana compared to Adnhra. Most of Telanganites graduated in Urdu medium(no Telugu medium, English medium colleges availble back then).
But now, even though Telangana is not behind Adnhra in examinations(see SSC results, Inter results). Only thing Telaganite don't have is money or recommendations. Thats why there are less people in beaurocracy. Everybody knows the role played by corruption and recommendations in job recruitments. Adn everybody know the power of beaurocracy in the funds allocation. Hence Telangana projects gets less funding compared to Adnhra projects(probably except in Hyderabad city because its the second/first home of Adnhra beaurocrats).

1. Put some logic in your point. If there is no water in Mahboobnagar district then how come there is water in Krishna, Guntur. Krishna enters to AP through Mahaboobnagar. If there is no water in Mahaboobnagar there should be any water in Krishna, Guntur. 2. As per the law jobs are to be given to merit people, but how many jobs are filled as back position. Is commission that was put by gov. was wrong? Accept the facts. How many Andhra/Rayalaseem persons are doing gov. jobs in HYD. There are zone in AP according to that non-zonal person can't be transfered (excep some departments). How come many people are doing job in HYD and even in Telangana region. 3. Yes, you are correct that lands surrounding to Hyd are costly that does't mean this region is developed.

Mr.Reddy Pl let me know what kind of development Telengana politicians are doing(TRS),they are taking party funds from companies / factories / rice mill, why cant they invest that money to uplift the region?.I'm not sure where u belongs, but my self a Hyderabadi my forefathers are Nawabs.At least forefather's did something, but what these politicians has done. Why you didnt asked this Question.Why they couldnt able to establish small scale industries and create employment opportunities, instead crying for a separate state WE ( as a people ) can make a difference.
If you take Nalagonda, lot of are SC/ ST's they are enjoying free scholar ships and jobs with out any competetion and on the top of that most of them are sitting on higer positions why they are not uplifiting that region where they belongs to.. Polticians just know how to divide people and regions.
And we behaving like SLOOF and become prey's to them. UNITED WE CAN DO A LOT and MAKE A DIFFERENCE

I am from Karimnagar, I belong to Telangana. Under united AP we demanded from projects to be constructed and asking many collages but none were granted. 1. There was demand of increasing the height of SRSP but no one is considering. 2. You see Krishna river flow from Nalgonda and Mahaboobnagar and there is no drinking water and water for cultivation in this area. Fluoride level is more in Nalgonda districts. 3. There was a plan to construct a dam in Mahboobnagar district so that lands can be cultivated, but those projects are not approved. The simple reason is that if dam is constructed then some share of water that goes to Krishna, Gutur will be reduces and they don't want that. 4. Government spends money on projects for Krishna, Guntur district to get water for 3rd crop in a area. But does't shows any interest to cultivate lands of Nalgonda and Mahboodnagar for even one crop. Why is this discrimination? 5. Even jobs of Telangana people are taken by Andhra. There was commission on police department and commission said that there are 2Lakhs illegal job holders from Andhra region who are doing duties in Telangana region. Why government not taking any steps on this. There are many factors for statehood and this board is not sufficient to explain all. Many time people of Telangana raised their voice for solving the problem and we can’t keep hoping the same for another 60yrs. There will be limit for every thing and now it crossed the limit. It's time for statehood.

Reservations are one of the sensitive issue that should be dealt. I think that we should change our constitution and remove reservation on caste, religion. Insted gov. should fund poor if they got talent. Look at Political parties for the vote bank they are introducing reservations on religious base which is not at all good for society. I believe that every on is equal and they should got some talent to get some thing.

Well Said and that is a true fact!!! its poor people of telagana who does not see any development since independence and supressed and dominated by andhra leaders in all respects is worth to be declared as seperate state.

Simple fact is Telangana people are used for easy money. They are expecting funds without any work. so always cry. I stayed in telanga region and observed many schools, children passout just by copying and score 90%, when it comes to entrance no one can clear, but they cry on others.

I stayed in Andhra Region where people used to copy and also leak question papers and clear exams. This does't mean every one does the same thing. Any place you pick in India people copy in exam and don't to judgment looking at those people.

You might have failed to notice that the schools which you are referring to are headquartered in andhra.
This Crook KCR was with thrid front because he was sure that if he contests the elections alone he will not get more than 2 seats. After Elections he has dumped Naidu becaue he thinks NDA will form next gove and he will be in Cabinet along with his Son. See his Statements will be different tomorrow after seeing the results

if his aim was to get cabinet seat then he would stayed with Congress and not raise his voice for the support of Telangana. He resigned his position for the sake of separate stathood. When people think on their own looking at the facts. They keep on looking at the things with media eys. He resigned his cabinet position with in 2yrs. It was TDP who ditched TRS by giving B-foroms to TDP candidate where TRS was contesting.

dear friends I am from telangana, Mr.KCR recently got AUDI car gift worth 1 crore(my friend works for Audi)persons name who made payment kept secret. He is earning crores n crores of money with this Telangana Concept. Rumors r that he has received 2 acres of land for his new home at Hyd. He is earning lots n lots of money with this succesful concept. If state is formed nothing g8t will happen, it will just help this politicians to earn more n more.....

Whats wrong if somebody gave KCR a gift. He is working for Telangana state. If he really after the money, he would not have resigned from central ministry after 2 years. Congress was willing to give crores of rupees during last no confidence motion. He said he would not support congress unless it create Telangana. I see very few people in Indian politics with such dedication to a cause(any cause). Your opposition to KCR is beacuse of your opposition Telangana. You are trying to find every fault with KCR while ignoring corruption of Andhra leaders. It shows your bias. For a minute you be in the shoes of Telanganite, then think about it.
