Aparthied, of an Anti-National type
by Shivamogga on May 15, 2009 05:03 PM

Today, every party (with very few exceptions) in India postures with pride in front of the media and before the crowds that they are "secular" and worthy of being in the corridors of power.

In the first instance, the term "secular" doesnt fit the Indian socio-poilitical realities and therefore meaningless and irrelevant.

The "Go - No GO" gauge employed by these parties is very simple and straight forward. If you are overtly pro-Muslim , pro-Christian and covertly or overtly anti-Hindu in word and deeds, you are a "Secular" party, worthy to rule the 100 crore population.

This pseudo-secular rule employed by these parties are openly advertised on the face of 85% Hindus. They know perfectly well that they are sending signals to the solid voting patterns of Muslims/ Christians and can comfortably ignore the insignificant Hindus who think as Hindus with issues of National perspective.

The havoc played with the Nation, by demeaning and plundering its material wealth and also the cultural and spiritual richness has further extended into the dangerous territory of alarming demographic alterations, that is gnawing at the vitals of the Nation.

Unless this is understood and properly reacted by every Hindu, we are moving towards a great National precipice.

Congress & BJP

In the scramble for power and for keeping BJP out of power, all these pseudos are gagging up to fight on a common platform against BJP in future elections. I have a strong feeling that even parties like JD(U) will desert BJP in due course. They are with BJP because of Bihar compulsions. JD(U) government will not sustain without BJP. This being the scenario another round of parliamentary elections is on cards when all and sundry parties will jointly fight BJP. There is only one party which all others are afraid of and that is BJP. BJP will be alone and that will lead it to success. This reminds me of what Tagore wrote when everyone deserted Gandhiji - ekla chalo. It is time that BJP by going alone should establish an all India posture which others should envy. Perhaps Narendra Modi can do it with his great leadership qualities. Parameswaran

I can appreciate the wiliness and clear bias of the moderator. Even an academic thought without any mala fide intention, but exposing clearly, a political grouping is held/ deleted.

In this case, the moderator is reviewing my 10 sentences for the past 30 minutes!

Good job!

I really wish it happens. Secularism is such a great concep and ideology but it is being used, abused and raped by the so called secular parties. Congress being the leader of the bunch of corrupt forces.
