ANY IDEA WHO HAS GOT GUTS TO STOP CONVERSION
by balaji on May 15, 2009 11:04 PM

After Kerala TN Orissa missionaries aggressive in AP and Karnataka
Alarming 5 fold increase in Kandhamal Christian population from six per cent in 1971 to 27 per cent in 2001 ,It began with the arrival of Christian missionaries in the area who found the remote region very conducive to conduct prosetylization amongst the poor tribals. The conversions continued unhindered until the arrival of Swami Laxmanananda who put strenuous efforts to stop conversions and help reconversion to Hinduism as well. If not for his effort Kandhamal would have been another Nagaland in the making where the separatist movement has wrecked havoc in the state.
The aggressive Christian proselytization in Orissa today pitched previously peaceful tribals into warring camps of Christians and non-Christian. This has has vitiated the peace that has existed with various communities for millenia.
Why Orissa
Orissa has been specially targeted because of a huge tribal population. This allows the missionaries to work from the scrutiny of the media and carry our their nefarious activities.
In Kandhamal district, for instance, the Christian population has increased from six per cent in 1971 to 27 per cent in 2001, despite a law enacted by the Orissa Legislature in 1967 to prevent conversion by allurement, coercion, bribery and cheating.

Its time BJP owns a TV channel else they will be buried silently
by Balaraman on May 15, 2009 02:22 PM

REAL FACE OF biased INDIAN MEDIA.
Every media is owned by overseas Christian organisations. It was difficult to believe but the Election coverage by TV Media is prooving the point.
BUT NOW IT IS PROVED BEYOND DOUBT.
(1)No TV Media aired the News on the suicide of Senior Vadhera. If any such death had
happened in the family of a BJP person, the Media would have gone agog with the
news.
(2)Teestha Setalwad was exposed of creating most of the Gujarat Riot Stories and in
fact taken the Supreme court almost for a ride.Imagine a similar offence by the
opposite side. There would have been discussions, hen fights, opinion polls and
SMS surveys.

The MEDIA OF THIS DECADE WILL BE REMEMBERED FOR AGES TO COME. IT IS A BLOT ON JOURNALISM.

Is there any Indian who will lodge a criminal case on Testha Setalwad for her crimes against the communal harmony of this country?

Jayas options
by bakbakkarthahoon on May 15, 2009 01:59 PM

Third front can never form government. No point for Jaya to remain in that front.

Assuming Congress is in better position to form govt. If Jaya gets around 28 that Headlines Today and TOI are projecting, Congress will woo her into UPA. Bargain will be to ditch DMK and therefore possibility of TN assembly elections. Out of 28, Left and MDMK might get about 6 seats. MDMK wont support congress due to Eelam issue but Left can provide outside support. PMK will also support congress.

Assuming Jaya and DMK split 20 each as predicted by AC Neilson survey (NDTV and News X). Congress wont ditch DMK. Therefore Jaya will support NDA if only her 20 seats will help NDA to form govt. If not, with 20 seats she will remain in 3rd front without any benefit to her cos aliging with NDA will not benefit her either.

Assuming Jaya gets 28 and NDA is short of just that many seats to form govt, Jaya could support NDA with some good ministerial berths. She could harass DMK govt just as DMK did to her with ministerial berths. However, Congress can play a ball by aliging with Jaya and help her by withdrawing support to TM assembly (DMK govt) even though Cong cant form govt at center. In this case, Jaya may not support NDA despite assured NDA government and ministry since her primary goal of toppling the minority TN government will be met in this deal.

Will certainly be interesting watch tomorrow afternoon.

Nice Drama to watch
by srinivas chary on May 15, 2009 01:23 PM  | Hide replies

Lets talk about third front.

WEST BENGAL: Left always goes towards congress and mamata banerjee no way but has to go to NDA
ANDHRA PRADESH; TDP cannot support Congress has to go to NDA. Since they have a chance to come back into power in AP they need centre support. Congress doesn't support if it is in power so TDP has to back NDA.
TAMILNADU. Chances of both alliance having 50-50 (20 seats each to DMK and ADMK). Both cannot be in one alliance any one could support NDA.

So advantage is with NDA
