ANY IDEA WHO HAS GOT GUTS TO STOP CONVERSION After Kerala TN Orissa missionaries aggressive in AP and Karnataka Alarming 5 fold increase in Kandhamal Christian population from six per cent in 1971 to 27 per cent in 2001 ,It began with the arrival of Christian missionaries in the area who found the remote region very conducive to conduct prosetylization amongst the poor tribals. The conversions continued unhindered until the arrival of Swami Laxmanananda who put strenuous efforts to stop conversions and help reconversion to Hinduism as well. If not for his effort Kandhamal would have been another Nagaland in the making where the separatist movement has wrecked havoc in the state. The aggressive Christian proselytization in Orissa today pitched previously peaceful tribals into warring camps of Christians and non-Christian. This has has vitiated the peace that has existed with various communities for millenia. Why Orissa Orissa has been specially targeted because of a huge tribal population. This allows the missionaries to work from the scrutiny of the media and carry our their nefarious activities. In Kandhamal district, for instance, the Christian population has increased from six per cent in 1971 to 27 per cent in 2001, despite a law enacted by the Orissa Legislature in 1967 to prevent conversion by allurement, coercion, bribery and cheating.
Have you seen the news recently?. Among the Southern States Tamila Nadu and AP are viewed differently and Karnataka and Kerala are viewed the otherway. TN and AP are considered swing states hence have more weightage at the center. This is because they have regional parties which can send significant number of MP's to parliament. Poor Kannadigas were fighting among themselves when Deve Gowda became PM in 1996. Some people liked it, some people resented it, some people were jealous of it but not too many people liked a person from Karnataka becoming a PM. It may be coz of the how Gowda looks. Our people likes everything to look good hence good looking Hegde, even through he is not a street fighter like Gowda is more acceptable to our population than Gowda. Gowda might have finished the career of R.K.Hegde coz he resented when all of the sudden he became PM ahead of him. Many people of North Karnataka started supporting BJP from then on and BJP got foothold in Karnataka. Congressman asks high command in Delhi even if they want to fart, For BJP Karnataka is like branch office and they treat it like their first branch office in South India. JD(S) doesn't have base in urban, Coastal and Mumbai Karnataka. So the need of the hour is a strong regional party which can send atleast 15 MP's for the state to get it's due share.
whatever he has done to other parties, he is a real fighter than any other politician in our country.he atleast never troubled common peoples and has helped farmers and poor peoles in many ways, dont think me as a supporter of devegowda(am a big fan of modi), but i really likes his spirit he shows in each election. Just think who is good now in politics,atleast he struggles fr poor thts it,

Kumaraswamy confined Radhika only to bedroom but look at Yeddy, he made Shobha Cabinet minister ahead on many many deserving MLA's in BJP.
Devegowda politics are very dirty in INDIA worst than Congress politics and Political tricks where ever he goes he will ditch them for his own purpose I dont know how Kannad people are electing him this dirty political BA..st...a .. rd

Its not problem with karnataka alone. Almost all states are facing same issues. See TN-karuna & jaya, bihar-laloo, up-mulayam& mayavati AP-YSR etc. everywhere this type of ppl will be there.

Yes,he and his Family is the stupidest persons on the earth,I have never seen such cunning,selfish,money hungry people like this. For their own purpose they are ready to whatever required,they are ready to ditch anybody at any give point of time if they are getting someting for them. I dont know how people still elect such bad and non-sence people. It is shame on India that such people rule our state and country....

Umesh,do you think Karanata means Only Hassana and Gowdas family.By the way I am kannadiga before belonging to any disctrict.
Have u ever been to other parts of Karnataka than Hassana ,then only u will realize wat ur Gowda and Congress did for Karnataka in these 60 yers of independecne. Do u knw People get drinking water once in 15 days in a District place like Bijapur.Farmers commit sucide becasue of lack of food and money.

Yes I agree with you. This is wat happening with our politics ,most of the people think that if a poilitician has done even a little bit to their cast and people they think that he is good.They dont think the welfare of state ,our country.In this process they ignore whatever bad things that politician has done
