The aggressive Christian proselytization in Orissa today pitched previously peaceful tribals into warring camps of Christians and non-Christian. This has has vitiated the peace that has existed with various communities for millenia. Why Orissa Orissa has been specially targeted because of a huge tribal population. This allows the missionaries to work from the scrutiny of the media and carry our their nefarious activities. In Kandhamal district, for instance, the Christian population has increased from six per cent in 1971 to 27 per cent in 2001, despite a law enacted by the Orissa Legislature in 1967 to prevent conversion by allurement, coercion, bribery and cheating.

BUT NOW IT IS PROVED BEYOND DOUBT. (1)No TV Media aired the News on the suicide of Senior Vadhera. If any such death had happened in the family of a BJP person, the Media would have gone agog with the news. (2)Teestha Setalwad was exposed of creating most of the Gujarat Riot Stories and in fact taken the Supreme court almost for a ride.Imagine a similar offence by the opposite side.There would have been discussions,hen fights,opinion polls and SMS surveys.
The MEDIA OF THIS DECADE WILL BE REMEMBERED FOR AGES TO COME. IT IS A BLOT ON JOURNALISM.

BJP hierarchy is just not receptive to the idea of sponsoring a TV channel and a national daily. So I guess the Hindu majority should take the initiative before itis too late.

Congress has no other election debate other than Secularism. Every party certifies itself as Secular. What is meant by Secularism? Hindu Bashing. Keep quiet when there is a terrorist attack on Hindu majority? Keep insulting Hindu beliefs. Blaming BJP for every small incidents like the Mangalore one, even if they beg to say that they are against. Blow up every small anti Muslim or Anti Christian incidents. Forget about the riots that took place when they rule and keep talking about the Gujarat riots in every elections so that Muslims will vote for them. Simple vote bank politics means Secularism. But Muslims and Christians, if they learn to live with the majority population without hurting their sentiments, they would be living in heaven. I would appeal to them not to believe these Secularists, who are creating a bigger wedge between them and the majority Hindus. Finally, we all have to live together, only then India will prosper. Do not believe any politicians and work for equal rights, do not ask for any favours over your neighbour.
