In Poiltics artihmatics and chemistry are two diffrnet subjects. In 2004, left parties got 65 seats and could n't resist sleeping with their enemy no-1 Congress. In the two state where left is critical -Congress is the key oppsotion (although a weak force) and BJP doesnt have presence. So the big party i.e left has manything s to loose and congress has only things to gain . This is also true for states like Bihar, UP where allies are fighting among each other during elections. Left which got the artihmetic to bloc NDA in 2004 will be shown the door by its committed votters. These votters who fight on street with congress man day in and out couldn't belived that their party is in bed with the same rival. Hence they behaved as jolted lovers and decided to teach alesson. But it seems left is not seeing the wirtting in the wall. The kerela and WB units have complete diffirent proiity -Its the Kolkata leftists who wants to be with Congress to keep Mamata out in state and BJP out in centre. But the kereal unit is paying the price as Congress is emerging as a big force. So while Buddahdeb and yecheury will enjoy karat will cry.
who says karat has few options? on the contrary he has more options than either congress or bjp. he can always take the help of nepali communists, or even chinese parliamentarians. as a last option he can turn to naxalites, alqaida, hamas, hezbollah, laskar-e-toiba.....
If congress agrees to withdraw CBI case against our beloved leader Mr. Pinarai Vijayan in Lavlin case and save him from going to jail we will support congress.
Having watched TV for the past one month, so many options were thrown open by many people. Infact, few of the guys already started giving ideas to policiticians (as if there is a dearth in the politicians thinking process) for horse trading. Given the first level enemies being Communists vs BJP, even though Communists still feel they dont favour Congress, the situation is pretty fluid. Why not this option, so far not thought by anyone. All the MPs from Congress and all the MPs from BJP unite (minus Sonia Gandhi and few sundries in Congress and minus Advani and few sundries in BJP) to form the govt. It will get enough majority (possibly cross 300 ) given run for the money for other guys. If these two unite, rest all will get killed, whether it Maya, Jaya, Mulayam, Karuna, DeveGowda, Lalu, Chandra or Commies. Why dont these two unite and that is the end of it. Jai Hind. I may look hypocrite, but in politics, options are always open.

It is good for the country to have NDA govt. at the Centre, with only Jaya's support. NDA must get 250 (BJP alone 200), then Jeya's demand will be tackled to some extend.
She may even sweep all the 40 seats with her strong alliance !!!! PMK and MDMK will satisfy with one minister each !!! Jeya may demand TN govt. dismissal which can be done easily - on Eelam basis and family politics basis - the people of TN will be more happy !!!

That's what Left want- to break Cong and TMC, otherwise they will be licked in Assembly polls. This is not because Cong-TMC is great but Left is lousy
